Who's Been Naughty on Fox News?

palin_spank_300w_371h.jpg

"A spanking and a warning produce wisdom, but an undisciplined child disgraces his mother." Or as Sarah would say, "Gotcha! Now you're gonna get a paddlin', by golly!"

We all know the folks at Fox News sometimes get a bit, ahem, "undisciplined". So because we don't want their guardians (Murdoch and Ailes who could be described as "mutha's" but not in the maternal sense) to spank them - after all, corporal punishment isn't a liberal value - we at News Hounds feel it our duty to impart a bit of discipline to their spawn at the "fair & balanced" channel when they act out. Nothing kinky, mind you. No leather and whips (although Bill O'Reilly and Greg Gutfeld might find that fun).

What we feel would be appropriate would be examples, from you, gentle readers, of Foxes and Foxettes being naughty so that we can, metaphorically speaking, spank those in need of discipline at Fox News - because lord knows, they're not producing wisdom!

On Fox News Sunday Karl Rove went on and on about how Obama promised that unemployment wouldn’t go over 8 percent on his watch. The whole 8 percent claim is a ridiculous one and never challenged on television even tho it is constantly repeated by republicans. For one thing, unemployment was over 8 percent in Feb of 2009, BEFORE the stimulus even went into effect.

My guess is that this 8 percent claim could give a website like yours plenty to do until election day. Take a look at it. It comes from a Jan 9, 2009 report from Obama’s council of economic advisors, using 3rd qtr 2008 numbers from the Bush admin and it certainly was never a promise. It’s a pathetic claim actually.

How could Obama’s stimulus plan keep the rate below 8 percent if it was over 8 percent when it was passed?

I find Ventura’s arguments credible. That said, I have never declared him the truth teller. My point is about Fox News’ coverage of this and THEIR credulous acceptance of something that Ventura vehemently denies.

Meanwhile, while you sneeringly suggest I’m being unreasonable, you have not offered a single bit of proof to back up your assertion that Kyle told the truth.

Ellen, I suppose you dont believe this story only because it was reported by Fox. What would make you happy ? If some left-wing blog carried an abundance of info which discredited Ventura ?

Where’s your proof?

Sadly, the Ventura story was true. Sorry Jesse fans.

Earlier today, in response to the news that Obama was nixing the pipeline, the string of comments on foxnews.com (not the crazier foxnation.com site) were some of the worst I have ever seen. One guy wrote “There’s a nigger in the White House and he’s not serving coffee.” “A nigger in the hite House…” WTF? There was a slew of other similarly racist quotes.

Why is it O’Reilly feels entitled to belittle the comments on Kos and other progressive sites as examples of “left-wing lunacy”, but fails to police his own company site? MSNBC needs to highlight this racist ranting.

I haven’t checked, but the comments have probably been scrubbed. When I saw them, they were posted “0 minutes ago.”

Check it out.

The story about Jesse Ventura is totally nonsense. He wasn’t even where they said he was on the bogus road rage incident lie and the fake statement against the Navy Seals. O’Reilly and the rest of the Fox vermin are pressitutes. I could say worse, but i won’t.

Hi Ellen, did you catch Bildo telling his audience last nite that the military is not run by the government, it’s run by the Pentagon and it’s also not the government.
