If you thought Donald Trump would show a smidgen of decency in the wake of Shepard Smith's shocking resignation from Fox News, think again.

When he was asked to comment at one of his ridiculous by-the-chopper press calls, he pretended not to have known and said “Oh, was he? That’s a pity.” Pretty much like his comment to the Ukrainian President about the ambassador “She’s going to go through some things…”
The empty husk of a man seriously believes he’s a mob boss. Can we expect him to start wandering the streets in his pyjamas some time soon?

Wow. No surprise there. That’s how Fox makes their money. They don’t care about who they affect with their propoganda. It’s all about that dollar dollar bill, y’all.

I just read a long (2000+ comments) thread on Twitter where conservatives were high-fiving over the announcement Shep is leaving Fox News. As I’ve said before, I can’t count the number of tweets I’ve read in the past on Twitter calling for boycotts of his show and screaming for his firing. Unsurprisingly, many in the thread are calling for Juan Williams to go next.
As Ellen has said, Shep only survived on adding legitimacy to Fox News. His was the lowest rated show on the network – no surprise there. I read at Variety Fox News makes more on cable subscriptions than advertising which explains how advertising boycotts will never effect shows like Laura Ingraham’s, Tucker Carlson’s or Sean Hannity’s. Their ridiculous propaganda is the draw, not objective news. Which is why their shows are prime time and even biased news focused shows like America’s Newsroom and Special Report are not.

Not for a moment. My surprise is Trump’s gloating isn’t worse he won again with Fox News.
