One of Donald Trump's advisers has tweeted that "Fox News Corp." has donated more than $3 million to the Clintons. "Makes you wonder what goes on behind the scenes...." he wrote.
Daniel Scavino Jr. bills himself as "Donald J. Trump for President Senior Adviser." Last night, he tweeted the chart below, without any sourcing.
But even assuming the numbers are correct, if anybody really thinks that the fact that a huge conglomerate like 21st Century Fox/News Corp. gave money to the Clintons "to all accounts" over the last 20+ years (including the years of Bill Clinton's presidency) means that Fox is biased against Birther Boy Trump and secretly supporting Hillary Clinton - well, all I can say is, Fox is doing one heckuva job disguising their bias! That is, unless you think that constantly obsessing about Benghazi and Clinton's emails is some kind of reverse psychology.
Yeah, maybe Fox figures their viewers will be so sick of those subjects that everyone will go out and vote in Clinton just to shut them up. Right.

Caricature of Donald Trump by DonkeyHotey.
One person said they were convinced the GOP’s strategy was for their candidates to simply keep trolling each other until the voting stopped . . . another said they were certain Trump was an agent provocateur sent to destroy the repubs and hand the election over to the Democrats.
When you combine this with Geraldo’s contention that Trump and Fox are “one big happy family”, I’m starting to think they were onto something . . .
.
For starters, tRump has appeared on FoxNoise at least 132 times (that’s per a Fox response to one of tRump’s campaign people). How much monetary value do you suppose would be attached to all those appearances? Granted, tRump isn’t getting paid that money, but you can damn well bet he’s getting a crap load of publicity when he shows up; those appearances are also taking time away from OTHER people—people who might have some genuine newsworthiness.
Also, it should be remembered that tRump PERSONALLY donated money to Hillary’s 2006 Senate campaign (as well as donating to both of the Democrats’ national US House and Senate campaign organizations in 2006 to the tune of $25,000). And tRump has donated to the Clintons’ foundation (well over $100,000). We’re talking about ONE man—not a COMPANY (corporations have boards of directors in addition to owners who decide on political contributions).
tRump may want to reline this avenue of attack. It’s not hard for his opponents to point out that if he’s going to attack FoxNoise (and, in fairness, the money does NOT specify the right-wing TV network but rather the overall corporation which includes the main network responsible for airing “The Simpsons” as well as the movie division responsible for releasing “The Martian” and “The Peanuts Movie”) for “contributing” to the Clintons, he’s going to have to explain why HE did the same thing.
So lets check the logic – if Fox had tossed a GOP candidate $3MIL THAT would be OK?
In a previous thread on the general topic of The Donald skipping the next debate I elaborated on Fox’s perspective. An extension of Fox shows coddling Republican candidates yet Fox taking the debates somewhat seriously is that Trump is a bit confused.
Republicans and, naturally, Fox News have diaper dumped over perceived liberal bias at all the debates except the Fox ones. So it’s no surprise Republican candidates like Trump expect the same softball treatment at the Fox debates they get during their campaign stops on various Fox programs like “Fox & Friends.”
IMHO, this is the source of the The Donald’s angst. He’s still waiting at the debates for the same red carpet and ego stroking he typical gets during Fox softball interviews.
