Those folks at Fox News sure have strange ideas about how to make the Yule time bright – with their never-ending gripes about people saying, “Happy Holidays.” This morning, a professional Santa Claus visited Fox & Friends to discuss his new book about “the true meaning of Christmas.” Apparently, that amounts to saying, “Merry Christmas” and fighting political correctness.
“I like to wish people a Merry Christmas,” Santa, aka Sal Lizard, said. He assured the Curvy Couch Crew he’s “always had pleasant responses.”
Christmas-loving Gretchen Carlson wasted little time playing the spoilsport – all in the name of the Christmas spirit. “What do you make of the political correctness part of our culture?” she asked.
Lizard says that a few years ago, Christmas parties turned into “holiday parties” that no longer wanted a Santa. He also joked that in Australia, Santas have to say, "Ha Ha Ha" in order not to insult women.
A banner on the screen read: END THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS: pro Santa won’t say ‘Happy Holidays’
Steve Doocy said approvingly, “We know that you love the spirit of Christmas throughout the year.”
Yeah, because nothing says “Joy to the World” like refusing to say, “Happy Holidays!”
The only people who would think that are the same ones who think pointing out racist behavior makes those who point it out racists themselves.
IOW, the simpleminded.
.
Sheer unadulterated hypocrisy and they don’t even try to hide it. The whole war on Christmas is a fraud for the mindless foxy viewer.
BTW, C&L has a story about someone who torched a mosque in Ohio because of all the hatred and misinformation he’d drunk from FoxNews.
.
That’s a perfect score for F(alse) & F(ictitious).
“Foxnews: Fairly partial to the imbalanced”.
I think they’d love it.
A “Vampire Santa” with his tainted moonshine would be deployed as their newest defense weapon in the “War on Christmas” . . .
.
It’s times like these that I really wish we had the old commenting system because I’d love to give a thumbs up to mj’s Easter Bunny comment. LOL!
Did he happen to mention his involvement in “Young Blood: Evil Intentions?” I’d certainly love to see how the FoxFiends would react to the knowledge that their “charming old Santa” played a Vampire Santa because absolutely nothing says “spirit of Christmas” like a vampire Santa.
