Leave it to Fox News conservatives to use today’s ruling that Tom Brady must serve a 4-game suspension as an excuse to attack Bill and Hillary Clinton.
On Fox’s Outnumbered, the legal experts said today’s ruling by an appeals court suggested that Brady had tried to cover up some kind of wrongdoing. Cohost Andrea Tantaros just happened to think of the Clintons.
“All along, It just didn’t smell right – right, Andrea?” cohost Sandra Smith said with a smile, tossing to Andrea Tantaros, as if she didn’t know what Tantaros would say.
“It sounds familiar,” Tantaros said, with a malicious smile.
She didn't even have to explain before Judge Andrew Napolitano jumped in. “Yes, it does!” he exclaimed delightedly. “The server in Chappaquiddick!” He later corrected himself to say Chappaqua, which is where the Clintons live. Of course, Chappaquiddick is where the Ted Kennedy scandal occurred in 1969 that Fox still talks about.
“Brady and [Coach Bill] Belichick are like the Bill and Hillary of football!” Tantaros said gleefully.
Napolitano laughed heartily.
I guess they couldn’t figure out a way to work in Benghazi. Or maybe Fox is saving it for prime time.
Watch it below, from the April 25 Outnumbered.
