Jon Stewart Reveals The Fox News-Approved Version Of Sesame Street

Posted by Ellen -377.20pc on October 09, 2012 · Flag

The Daily Shows us how Sesame Street can appeal to Republicans. Hint: Rename it " Patriot Street" because "Sesame Street" has a "Middle Eastern connotation." But first, a swipe at Fox News.

Stewart played a clip of Fox Newsies criticizing Sesame Street as liberal propaganda brainwashing. He said, "So Fox News is upset that empty-headed puppets are trying to brainwash and indoctrinate Americans... Perhaps (Fox) could sue them. The charge could be copyrtight infringement.

From Ellen’s post:

“…So Fox News is upset that empty-headed puppets are trying to brainwash and indoctrinate Americans… Perhaps (Fox) could sue them. The charge could be copyrtight infringement.”

Pardon me — didn’t Fox try to sue Sen. Al Franken several years ago for copyright infringement because of the title of his bestseller: “Lies And The Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair And Balanced Look At The Right”? For those of you that don’t remember, in the end FOX NEWS LOST! I’ll bet Herr Goebbels II (i.e. Rupert Murdoch) was HOPPING MAD at Bully O’Lielly after that TOTALLY RIDICULOUS lawsuit was thrown out — Murdoch probably wound up shelling out MILLIONS OF $$$$ in legal fees (and yes, I DO know that $10 million to Murdoch is, in the immortal words of the late Jackie Gleason (aka “Ralph Kramden” on “The Honeymooners”) “a mere bag of shells”).
