Jesse Watters insists he meant no disrespect with his comments about Hillary Clinton going for 'Beyoncé voters' when she criticized the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby ruing. But our readers seem to think otherwise. It was a close race but Watters eked out a win of our Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week poll.
In case you missed it, Watters' quote was:
This is (Cinton's) bread and butter. This is how she’s gonna try to win the White House. This is what she’s gonna go do: She needs the single ladies vote - I call them the Beyoncé voters, the single ladies. ...Obama won single ladies by 76% last time, and they made up about a quarter of the electorate. They depend on government, because they’re not depending on their husbands. They need things like contraception, health care, and they love to talk about equal pay.
In a field of 12 entries, Watters garnered 47, or 20%, of the 236 total votes. Andrea Tantaros' Hobby Lobby spin, that the decision was a "huge win" for women, came in second with 42 votes. You can view the full poll and its results here.
Check back tomorrow night when we should have our next Fox New Outrageous Quote of the Week up.
