Hannity Demands Obama Return Spike Lee Money Over Trayvon Tweet

Posted by Ellen -393pc on March 30, 2012 · Flag

Apparently, Sean Hannity thinks he’s the campaign-donor police for President Obama. We’re still hearing shrieks on the show that Obama should return the campaign donation from Bill Maher (for having spoken misogynistically about Sarah Palin). Now, Hannity is demanding Obama return Spike Lee’s money for having tweeted to his thousands of followers what he thought was the address of Trayvon-shooter George Zimmerman.

I agree what Spike Lee did was wrong. Very wrong. But he has apologized to the family whose address he tweeted and he has compensated them to their satisfaction. He has also since tweeted, “I Deeply Apologize To The McClain Family For Retweeting Their Address. It Was A Mistake. Please Leave The McClain’s In Peace. Justice In Court.” Furthermore, the McClain family – the ones who were wronged – seem to have fully forgiven him. After a personal phone call from Lee, the Washington Post reported:

“He was really kind,” Elaine McClain said. “And when he called us, you could just tell he really felt bad about it. And it was just a slip, and I just know that he really, really has been concerned.”

But Hannity has shown no such charity. Instead, he’s playing the victim by demanding that President Obama return Lee’s donation.

It didn’t work with Maher, I see no reason why it will or should work with Lee.

But speaking of questionable relationships, doesn't Hannity owe an explanation as to why he continues to sit on the advisory board of a charity run by the slavery-loving, woman-hating Jesse Lee Peterson?

A few quotes from Peterson, via the above links:

“I’ve often said that, ‘Thank God for slavery,’ because, you know, had not, then the blacks over here would have been stuck in Africa… The ride over (in a slave ship) was pretty tough but you know, it’s like riding on a crowded airplane when you’re not in First Class. It’s a tough ride. But you’re happy when you get to your desitination.”

“Women’s rights are “a trick from Satan.”

“One of the greatest mistakes that America made was to allow women the opportunity to vote.”

“(N)ot all, but most (women) turned into little whores.”

Oh, and Peterson had a few choice words about the Trayvon Martin case, too:

"I’ve said for the last 22 years that most black Americans are brainwashed. The recent actions of these black leaders and their followers are not about justice—it’s about getting even with whites and gaining political power. This is black hatred of white people and a result of more than fifty years of brainwashing by racist civil-rights leaders."

So if President Obama should return Spike Lee’s money, should Hannity resign from the advisory board of Lee’s charity?

You can contact Hannity at hannity@foxnews.com or tweet him @SeanHannity.

I’ll have more on this segment coming up in another post.

Here’s one more thing to validate your (Ellen) hypocricy. You are displaying an “Overturn Obamacare” ad on the second page of your blog. I guess money is more important than anything else, huh?

Tell you what, Seannie Poo:

President Obama will gladly return Lee’s donation — right after you follow through on that promise to get waterboarded . . .

You certainly aren’t as cavalier about Limbaugh’s comments. Hypocrite much?
