Not every Fox News pundit loved Deneen Borelli’s “Rapper In Chief” smear of President Obama after he used the N-word in an interview. On Fox & Friends this week, hosts Brian Kilmeade and Ed Henry expressed their disapproval.
As we previously noted, Borelli called President Obama the “Rapper in Chief” during a June 22 daytime discussion about his n-word interview. Rather than chastise her, she was invited back on prime time to repeat the slur.
But the next morning, the Curvy Couch Crew seemed to have a different point of view.
It’s not that they weren’t critical of Obama. Cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck suggested that Obama should “say it all the time.” Kilmeade added, “I just think he should not be saying it… and for the president to say that, I’m stunned by it.” Kilmeade also said he thought Obama was just “waiting for the opportunity to do it” and called the president’s comment “kind of an insult.”
That gave Hasselbeck the opportunity to re-play Borelli’s “rapper in chief” remark. In the clip Borelli also played the victim and complained about getting a lot of hate mail.
“Well, I’m not going to attack her or the President,” Henry responded. “But "rapper in chief" is a bit, a bit far.”
Even Brian Kilmeade agreed. “It is,” he said.
