Rape is a horrific crime regardless of the race, creed, or sexual orientation of the rapist. But Fox Nation, in keeping with Fox News's patented anti-Islamic bias, has decided that the religion of five men, charged in a Colorado rape, is relevant. The headline, "Muslims Gang Rape Colorado Woman," links to a Colorado TV site which does not identify the men as Muslims but as Iraqi nationals three of whom have the name Mohammed in the names - a name that is used by both Middle Eastern Muslims and Christians - some of whom are Iraqis. But Fox Nation had decided that they are Muslims. And Fox Nation decided to highlight this rape when there are many that are committed at any given time - many by Christians. If Catholics or Evangelicals gang raped a woman, would Fox Nation include the religious descriptor? If Fox Nation were to ever report on GOP fund raiser Greg Peterson, who will be tried for four rapes and kidnappings, would they identify him as a Mormon? Just saying...
This is an instance of them crossing that line.
AND, since this site is dedicated to covering all things Fox (aside from the legitimate entertainment arm of the Murdoch Empire that offers programming like “Glee,” “The Simpsons,” and “American Idol”—none of which purport to be “news” or “information” programming), the FoxNation.com falls under that purview. The only real difference is that FoxNation.com tends to present material that would NOT be acceptable under the FCC guidelines under which FoxNews purports to operate.
