The Hannity show set up the African American president of the National Bar Association so that she was barraged with accusations of being “part of the problem” of tensions between police and African Americans. She got virtually no time to respond.
Last night, Hannity hosted Pamela Meanes, the president of the National Bar Association, in a segment reminiscent of the “race pimp” attack on civil rights activist DeRay McKesson that Hannity played host to. Only this one was worse.
Meanes was ostensibly there to discuss the firing of a principal who commended the now-infamous McKinney, Texas police officer, David Casebolt, who drew his gun on a group of unarmed African American teenagers at a pool party.
Meanes has quite a distinguished resumé and she has been deemed respectable enough to analyze the Ferguson grand jury’s decision for Fox’s local affiliate in St. Louis. But Sean Hannity began discounting her opinion before she had finished her first comment. That was before she was set up for the race-baiting gotcha.
Meanes politely challenged Hannity for not giving credibility to one of the African American teens who was at the party and who, on the Hannity show, had said she had felt singled out by police because of her race.
Hannity immediately began interrupting. He cited “eyewitness” Sean Toon (without mentioning his criminal record or the fact that there are other questions about his credibility) as evidence that Meanes’ view was wrong. Hannity also reiterated his own false claim that the kids who had the gun drawn on them “came up behind” Officer Casebolt.
HANNITY: There was an eyewitness that was quoted as saying that the videotape does not capture the whole story. …And those kids that came up behind the cop—I think they provoked him and created a very dangerous situation that we should learn, when police are in the middle of their job, you cannot come in behind them like that, in my opinion.
Hannity moved on to suggest that Officer Casebolt, and not any of the teens who may have been terrorized by him, was the one who deserved sympathy.
HANNITY: Did you know that earlier in that day, he had to go console a family, take pictures of a man who had just committed suicide by shooting himself in the head in front of his children? And then, before he got to this incident, he had another girl that was on top of a home threatening suicide, talked her—had to talk her down. And then he was into this moment.
I’m not saying that justifies whether you think he did right or wrong in this particular case. I’m only pointing out I can only imagine. That’s not an easy day at the office for anybody. What’s your reaction learning that?
Meanes replied with sympathy.
MEANES: You know what? I completely agree with you, which is why this is a classic case of what the National Bar Association has been saying since July. There needs to be stricter mental health testing. When you are in a situation like this—and I applaud the officers that go out and put their lives on the line daily. But I have four children, Sean.
They’re 14, 9, 6 and 4. When I have a child that is out of control and their emotions are out of control, I make them have a time-out.
…This is a great moment for us to say he deserved to have some standards in place that would have said that when you have a day like that, maybe you should not be out...
But Meanes was interrupted by Borelli, again playing the role of African American black attacker. “Pamela, you’re actually part of the problem...”
Meanes remained respectful throughout the discussion. But Borelli was rude and angry from the start. She also attacked Meanes over something she clearly had no idea was coming.
BORELLI: ... because there is a video out of you on the ground with someone on your back, mimicking what the police officer did. So really, you’re part of the problem, Pamela, the propaganda that you’re putting out, and these young children are seeing these actions of what you’re saying and what you’re doing. You are part of the problem.
…You were part of the problem, and you should be held accountable for that, as well because what we’ve witnessed in this incident, …it was not about race. … So clearly, you are part of the problem.
Meanes tried to respond but – oops! There was no time.
Hannity claimed he’d give her 15 seconds for a “quick answer” but she didn’t even get that much.
Meanes began, “The point of doing the demonstration is to show that under the Tennessee versus Garner…”
Borelli interrupted to yell, “It’s propaganda!”
When Meanes complained that she had not interrupted Borelli, Borelli sneered, “You’ve been talking most of the show.” As if Meanes had had all that time to respond to Borelli’s ambush.
“Had we not seen—had we not seen the video, the narrative may have been different,” Meanes continued.
Hannity interrupted to say, “All right, I got to end it there.”
But Borelli continued the attacks as Meanes kept trying to explain:
MEANES: And that’s the reason why all of us, all of us...
BORELLI: Propaganda, ma’am. Yeah, Al Sharpton is probably looking for you.
Funny, I've never seen Borelli complain about Hannity promoting the armed insurrection by racist Cliven Bundy.
Watch this disgusting electronic lynching below, from the June 11 Hannity.
Hugh’s black sheep son plays to his elderly, bigoted audience. They love this stuff, and so does Hannocchio. This clown makes his living off of hate, which he’s done since 1989.
He’s not the only one involved in this racial ambush. That useless producer of his bears responsible for these third-rate segments.
Hannocchio’s servant knows her place. If she strays, Hannocchio and Nixon Trainee Ailes will remind her who is the slave master, err boss.
DOYC knows I’m frequently prone to lengthy (and I do mean lengthy) comments, but I do tend to (A) keep the comment germane to the topic at hand and (B) apologize for a too-lengthy comment (especially if it strays from the point of the article). I went through three paragraphs and gave up (even Sarah Palin’s word salads are more on-point).
but at the end of the day, it would be better if they were all more influenced by working class people than the other way around because it takes less effort to create great sums of wealth when more people work hard than the the working class whose wealth is stolen and hoarded by a few,, but that’s not the Mafia’s fault, or the Crips and Bloods, Mexican Mafia, outlaw bikers, or any of the other multitudes of criminal genres looking for ways to get their hands on a silver platter, those who don’t pretend they’re not criminals,, the real problems of the world are more the fault of those who pretend their not criminals who are, those who get higher education, put on suits and ties, then work their way into positions of power and authority to steal working class peoples wealth legally, because that sets the tone for what everyone else wants, which is to all be be a princes or princesses who gets everything handed to them for nothing, although in these cases, it often takes more work to get wealth through the underworld or corrupt overworld than it would if everyone was not a lazy ass crooks
think about it, so much wealth is skimmed off the top of the game that the car mechanic who works 70 hours a week still has to fudge his repairs to make enough money to survive, so does the air conditioner repair man, the people who build your home, even the guy who mows your grass is going to cut corners because there’s just not enough hours in the day for him to do everything perfectly and still pay his bills,, when working people don’t have enough money to build a decent life for themselves, when after paying their bills to the people at the top who are making a killing off them while they got nothing left for themselves, they seek illicit entertainment, whether it be alcohol, drugs, sex, you name it and there always seems to be a way to find just enough money to get a cheap thrill before going back to work on Monday, this being people who wold rather be owning their own homes and bettering their lives but there’s just no way to do it without becoming crooked and getting away with it because that’s how so many successful people made it, by crooking the system or playing the game the people who are successful do without getting shot down like most who try do,,
even if you think you’ve followed the rules by doing everything “right”, are you sure the game you’re playing is not part of the problem?,, what about the interest rates you pay on loans to crooked bankers, or taxes you pay to crooked politicians to run the game that corrupts everything else,, what about your job, are you sure that one way or another that what you’re doing is not kicking the next man in the teeth, or supporting a system that is,, my point is that it’s all become corrupt so one way or another everyone is playing the game now, everyone has their own little way of making it work for them or they are failures,, and at some level the way they’re making it work is taking more from the system than it gives back while it takes more effort to play this game than is rewarded, but it’s the only game in town, so fuck it, you play or you fail, it’s just that simple,,
I think this is what Jesus meant by the end of the world and forgiveness, like right now mankind is spinning its wheels, worse than that, we’re slipping backwards into a sinkhole so big that everyone is going down with the ship no matter how big and bad you are,, and it’s all because too many people have their hands in the till with not enough people working to keep the till full of, not money, money isn’t even real, it’s just paper, it’s simply a logistics tool that allows easy transfer, not so much of products and services as human effort, money does not equal human effort, money is nothing, human effort equals wealth, money just makes it easier to move wealth around until too many people start using it without producing any effort
wealth though, real tangible wealth, everything from the food we eat to cancer cures, these are things of value we have more of when everyone takes life seriously from the street drunk who throws his empty bottles in the trash instead of on the ground to the president who works for the future of freedom, not special interests,, but how do we get there, who’s gonna take the first step?,, of course the people at the top will say the people at the bottom are the problem while they straighten their tie to make sure you notice they’re wearing one,, this is because they know that most people have been fooled into thinking they’re the good guys, that you need their approval to get anywhere because all the people in power and authority wear suits and ties, so they must be doing the “right” thing,, then you look at the people at the bottom with their welfare, drugs, and untenable culture of crime, and figure they most be right,,
but then how do these people get to the bottom, ah yes, they’re the losers of the game, they’re the ones we’re all better than because we’re the winners, they’re what make us all winners no matter how bad we’re losing, without the people at the bottom, we might be the losers, so of course, they are the problem even though in this corrupt society, they’re the solution to why we’re not losers,, but then if we did not play this game where everyone is fucking everyone else over for money, not only would we all be winners, I mean look at how much wealth we produce in spite of how crooked we all our, so think abot how much we could produce if we all simply worked for a living,
1) we would not have to work as hard because we would be moving forward rather than backwards
2) moving forward would create more wealth than we would know what to do with
3) we’d solve all the problems we’re not solving because we wouldn’t be doing everything assbackwards like we are now, “utopia”, I didn’t say anything about utopia, not doing everything assbackwards is not utopia, it’s normal, because this bullshit we’re doing now is not normal, corruption is ok, even good when only a few people do it,, but when everyone does it, it’s time to end it, and the only way to do that is forgive everyone for their past transgressions so we can start over,,
so the question is how do we do that, because I think you mfrs are all waiting for the people at the top to take the first step,, heres a clue peeps, that ain’t never gonna happen because they all suffer from an omnipotent mental disorder and they ain’t coming down without being pulled down kicking and screaming,, so then how do we do it without them taking the lead, how do we get to this normal place that is not utopia if they don’t change the system to accommodate it, which therein lies the dilemma, it’s the system itself, no matter what they or we do to it, we will all find ways around the rules to get what we want or need,, so it can’t be done through the system, they can force us to go there and we can’t force them, that’s what freedom is, the willingness to go there without being forced to go, the problem is who will go first hoping everyone else will follow,,
look at this, if the people at the top drop their guard first, we’ll move in and take what’s theirs, which is really ours,, then we’ll proceed to fuck it all up like communists do when the workers take everything for themselves,, if the ruling classes go on strike unless we give them all the money and power in the world, so what, they don’t do shit anyway, let them stay on strike forever,, if we go on strike, we fuck them at the same time fucking ourselves out of everything we need,, I already pointed out the answer, as long as the people at the top have the people at the bottom to point to as the problem, it will never end,, and we’re seeing pretty clearly now that we can’t lock up everyone at the bottom and solve the problem, especially when the only reason the bottom is the gutter is because of all the money the do-nothings at the top skim off the top of the economy so there’s never enough left to make the economy run the way it ought to, that’s all they’re doing is pulling money off the streets that would be working for us and stuffing it in their fat little pockets, which is stupid because they’re going to die from a disease that somebody in a ghetto they created was going to find a cure for but couldn’t because they were locked up for smoking a joint of marijuana, which ironically, now it turns out that marijuana cures just about every disease there is, but hey, if we’d known that all along, think of how fewer rich people there’d be because we’d all be able to grow our own cancer cure in our backwards, thus cutting the most profitable industry known to man out of the loop, the medical industry, or a huge chunk of it anyway, big enough I’m sure they wold like to keep pot illegal even if the person who was going to cure their disease is languishing in a jail-house while forced to be some psychopaths bitch, which of course turns him into a psychopath with an identity complex
do you see the game they play, bogus profits from pharmaceutical products that make people sicker, or access to real cures, even for them, and they chose money over life,, here’s how to get to this normal place that’s not utopia, and it can only get done this one way, the people at the bottom who have every excuse to not give a fuck, people who are not supposed to give a fuck so they’re always doing something that the suits and ties can point to as being the cause of all mankind’s ills so we don’t notice who the real problem is, you need to simply start giving a fuck, like giving a royal fuck,, I know, that’s not fair, you get shit all over and then have to take the higher ground in order to get back what you never should have lost in the first place, but look what you get back if you do it now, this is where organized crime that was created “by this corrupt system for the corrupt system” comes in, which you can’t wait for the people at the top of that food chain to make a move either, because the mob is suffering from the same mental disorder of omnipotence as our pretend ethical leaders, they are them and you are not, so fuck you and the horse you road in on even if that horse is pulling their cart, it’s called slavery even if you’re not poor,
as for everyone underneath the system, the ones who run the streets, the ones who we’re looking for a way off the streets without kissing a bunch of crooked white mans asses by working at McDonald’s, you already took the higher ground, you’ve just been so busy being told what a lowlife you are that you don’t know it,, you’re the ones who said fuck the system and created your own system outside it, which is inside it at the same time,, and for that you have a certain element of control over your lives that the system sought to take away, your soul and freedom in exchange for believing success in society can be had by breaking out the Vaseline, drooping your drawers, and bending over, you’re the ones who have everyones attention right now with all the riots and police brutality, but so far your collective reactions have only served to get a lot of crooked cops a lot of over time pay,, so how can you change that equation, which seems pretty obvious to me, how can you get those cops less overtime pay, even fired from their jobs at the same time taking away suits and ties excuse to blame the worlds problems on you, it’s simple, stop crime, not just riots on protest day but all crime in the hood and prison,, and you can make money doing it, real money that can’t be taken away or get you thrown in prison, because it would cost a lot less to police the streets if the streets policed itself, so money would come flooding into the hood to support such efforts, all you gotta do is make sure that doing so doesn’t create more corruption than it ends, which requires a certain amount of faith in the future of your efforts than letting everyone take what they can get now and running with it,,
this is something you could never do before if you had gone along to get along like everyone else has, those of us out here in white people world can’t do shit but watch it all go down the toilet,, if you had not gone your own way and taken control of the streets through rap and black markets, only by creating crime could you solve it, and by not stopping crime, like right now or very soon before it’s too late, you might as well have taken that job at McDonalds because everything else is a dead end because all the people stepping up to take bows for your revolution are part of the problem and always have been, that’s why they provoke you to violence, because if you go the other way, you don’t need them or the underworld and overworld they’re part of,,
it’s like if Kim Jung-un said he had a vision in which God told him to change his ways, and he really did it, he started living for his people rather than making them live for him at the same time working out his differences with his neighbors, there’s a lot of powerful people throughout the world who’d you expect to be most happy with that turn of events who would do everything they could to screw it up because North Korea is their scapegoat, their excuse to be corrupt because at least their not as corrupt as Kim Jung-un, he’s our distraction away from all the evil shit they do,, and on top of that, instead of everyone thinking they’re the good guys shiny white hats, everyone would look at Kim Jung-un as their better, even the best of them all even if he’s faking it because he’s tired of being the worlds whipping boy while his own people have him backed into a corner,, even if he did it to make his escape from a life of human rights abuses against his people, it would work because all the people who are not profiting from his corrupt past would see his actions as a great burden lifted from the human races shoulders and give him a free pass,, this is while hundreds of billions, even trillions of of dollars worth of wealth would flood into North Korea to insure they make the transition without turning back, which although this would mean a great deal of North Koreans in power today would lose a great deal of control over their people, they would gain more back than they lost if forgiveness was the rule of the day, that way everyone could walk away free to start their lives over,,
of course with nobody at the top to blame their problems on anymore, whoever decided to be corrupt after that might pay a great deal more than they’re accustomed to, like here in the US, drunk drivers get off with a slap on the wrist even though they risk everyones life by driving, many of them murdering innocent people with their actions,, this is because our corrupt leaders drink and drive,, can you imagine what it would be like for that one drunk driver who killed somebody if everyone else stopped drinking and driving so nobody was dying on the highways anymore, that’s the price for a moral society, anyone who fucks up in it sticks out above everyone and everything else like a weed in front of a lawn mower, like how Muslims think they’re better than Westerners because they cut off anyones head who breaks their laws or edicts, the new difference between us and them would be that we keep crime rates down without brainwashing, fear, and violence, we simply do it because we’re free to
