An armed terrorist in a German movie theater seemed like good news to Fox’s Stuart Varney and his comment on the subject won our Outrageous Fox Quote of the Week poll.
In case you missed it, Varney’s comment, made while it was still unclear what was happening in Germany, was:
“I don’t want—I’m not going to stretch this, but a terror, if it’s a terror incident or an incident of this kind, that’s for Trump. That is a plus for Donald Trump, isn’t it?”
Fortunately, the incident was resolved without any harm to anyone but the gunman.
It makes you wonder if Varney was disappointed Trump lost his opportunity.

I don’t do very well picking the winners in this kind of contest. I’m so used to Varney, O’Bully, Peters, Tantaros and all the usual suspects spouting off poisonous, hateful garbage, it’s hard to surprise me these days.
Guess it’s like the occupational hazards child porn investigators face. The more you’re exposed to it, the harder it is to truly shock you.
