Shepard Smith Tells Fox Host: We Are America! We Do Not Fucking Torture!
I hope you will all join me in giving Fox News host Shepard Smith a virtual standing ovation for his emphatic, no-holds-barred stance against torture. We've been sent two YouTube videos of Smith. One on his own show, Studio B, where he much less excitedly told his guests, “We are America. We don't torture. And the moment that is not the case, I want off the train.” On The Strategy Room, an online show, Smith pounded on the table and said vehemently, “We are America! I don't give a rat's ass if it helps! We do not fucking torture!” With video.

Karl Rove Says Michelle Obama's Speech "a missed opportunity"
Was Karl Rove watching a different Michelle Obama speech tonight? Rove called the speech a missed opportunity for three reasons. He thought MO did alright but not great introducing herself. However, Rove claimed she didn't prove her love for her country and didn't give people a real look at her husband adding a little socialist crack for added effect. But when Rove commented that MO didn't give people an idea of how they would be as a first couple and compared their marriage to a "business arrangement", it seemed like he either saw a different speech, processed it through a hyper-partisan filter or was spinning his brains out. McCain Had Advantage Over Obama For Saddleback Forum
Saturday night, immediately after the Saddleback Forum, FOX News had a panel ready for analysis on the Strategy Room.. Everyone on the panel agreed that John McCain was strong and decisive. In fact, McCain was so quick with his answers that he finished at least 15 minutes ahead of schedule. There may be a reason for McCain's strong and decisive responses. The New York Times reports that John McCain was not in "a cone of silence" to prevent him from hearing the questions because he was,in fact, caught in traffic while Obama was questioned by Pastor Rick Warren

FOX Devotes Sunday To Barack Obama
Sunday, 3/16/08, was a day of true devotion to Barack Obama on FOX News. It was almost impossible to tune in without seeing the same clips of Rev. Wright making the now infamous comments while throngs of people showed up to pass judgement and join the speculation. Some guests took a lower road than others but Liz Trotta chose the subterranean tunnel while chatting with Jamie Colby this morning ,about 11:30 AM .
