Rev. Franklin Graham – whose main national security credential seems to be a hatred for Muslims and suggesting Obama is one – appeared on Fox News yesterday where his amateur prescription for fighting ISIS was taken as serious commentary.

On yesterday’s Real Story with Gretchen Carlson, Graham reacted to the hideous ISIS killing of Ethiopian Christians in Libya.

When did Graham turn into a military or terrorism expert? There’s certainly nothing in his biography about it. But Graham has repeatedly blown the “secret Muslim” dog whistle on Fox News while appearing in that guise.

“General” Graham now announced, “We need to declare war on ISIS and we need to go wherever they are. …We have to put boots on the ground.” He added, “We’re not going to defeat these people the way we’re doing it now.”

Carlson challenged Graham somewhat. She said, “President Obama has declared war on ISIS in so many words.” However, she also noted, “Obviously you don’t believe he’s doing enough.”

”He’s responsible for ISIS,” Graham declared about Obama. “He pulled our troops out of Iraq.”

To top all that off, Graham also demanded an immigration policy, as though he were running for public office:

GRAHAM: We have to stop allowing the immigration of Muslims into this country who come from countries that have active terror cells. So I’m calling for the halt to all immigration of Muslims to this country if they come from a country that has Islamic terror cells in those countries.

Carlson asked, “How do we know if they are actually terrorists or not?”

”You don’t,” Graham acknowledged. “You’re just going to have to just say, ‘You don’t come. …Halt immigration until ISIS is defeated.”

“When you’re in a war, you’re going to have to discriminate if you’re going to win the war,” Graham added.
