Report: 10 More Women Have Contacted Gretchen Carlson’s Lawyers Alleging Ailes Harassment

Earlier today, I reported that Gretchen Carlson is not the only Fox News woman to claim to have been sexually harassed by Fox News CEO Roger Ailes. Now, CNN’s Brian Stelter has reported that 10 more women have contacted Carlson’s lawyers with similar complaints.

On CNN today, Stelter said the following:

STELTER: This is a story that could have big ramifications for Fox News because Ailes has been in charge ever since it launched. You could say he rules the network with an iron fist. And he is beloved by a lot of staffers there, but he is not known for being politically correct. And I do wonder, if in the days and weeks to come, we’ll hear from other women who might corroborate Carlson’s story. In fact, I just spoke with one of the attorneys involved in Carlson’s suit. They say that ten women have called the law firm today, wanting to speak with the law firm because they say they also have stories to share about treatment by Roger Ailes. I want to be careful with that though because that doesn’t mean they are alleging anything, any wrongdoing, and they’re not suing, Right now it is only Carlson who is suing.

Yes, right now, it is only Carlson who is suing. But whether or not other women come forward to back up or contradict Carlson could make a big difference as to Ailes’ future.

Watch Stelter below, on the July 6 CNN’s The Lead, via Media Matters.

What woman can resist having 300 pounds of blubber jump her bones?

More will be coming forward. Nixon Trainee Ailes is toast. His walking papers will soon follow.

John McKee I was wondering the same thing. What is the Thursday leg show gonna be like. Are all the bimbettes and bimbi going to come out wearing those long Mennonite dresses or the 1969 era miniskirts?

Truman if that’s true everyone of them must have slapped the shit out of him, cuz he’s uglier than a hat full of assholes.

Some say that Jabba the Ailes has groped more women than Cosby.

The very fact that Fox women have clearly been instructed NEVER to wear anything other than short skirts and have ALWAYS to hold their legs just so always made it obvious that this was an organization where sexism and sexual harassment were bound to thrive.

Scientologist/Surgical Freakshown/Suck-up Queen Greta excepted, every regular female guest or host is just so obviously selected and instructed according to guidelines any self-respecting woman, rabid right-winger or not, should be repulsed by. I would have sympathy for the likes of Wretched Gretchen if it were not for the fact that she had happily been an instrument of possibly THE most insidious propaganda machine since the days of Herr Goebbels.

10 More Women? Bill O’Reilly Jr. has some of catching up to do.

See you after the convention Roger. O’Reilly and Hannity will have to handle the convention.

Hmmmm,…I wonder what Clint Eastwood is doing these days?
