President Obama Calls Out Fox News’ Ed Henry’s Use Of Romney Talking Points
We’ve repeatedly noted how Fox News White House correspondent Ed Henry promotes Repubican or anti-Obama talking points as news. Now President Obama has called him out on it. During his press conference today, Henry dredged up some past Romney’s criticisms of Obama on foreign policy and “asked” for a response. Obama’s retort: I didn’t know you were the spokesperson for Romney. Later, on America Live, Henry bristled, pretending he was merely asking a question.

Bill Kristol Urges Regime Change In North Korea
You’d think that by now someone on “we report, you decide” Fox News might be challenging Bill Kristol for sounding like a broken record urging regime change as the panacea for world problems. But don’t hold your breath. Although Fox News Sunday panelists Mara Liasson and Juan Williams argued pretty forcefully yesterday against Kristol's latest regime change candidate - North Korea - nobody pointed out what a disaster “regime change” turned into in Iraq. Fox News Conservatives Gripe Over North Korea’s Release Of Journalists
Self-styled “Great American” Sean Hannity and his guest, Fox News contributor Dana Perino, claimed to be happy last night (8/4/09) about the release of Current TV’s two journalists from imprisonment in North Korea, but everything else said and unsaid indicated otherwise. There was no joy from Hannity or Perino about two young ladies being pardoned from their sentence of 12 years of hard labor, no curiosity about how they had been treated during their five months in captivity, whether they were well and how their friends and families had coped during the ordeal. Instead, Hannity and Perino took swipes at Obama and Clinton by whining that foreign policy may have been compromised, though they never offered any evidence that it had. Elsewhere, Fox News contributor John Bolton also sneered at the release as did Fox News producers and editors. With video.
