Monica Crowley Suggests Women On Welfare Have Children To Get More Government Money

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on April 10, 2013 · Flag

Tip for News Hounds readers: Whenever you see Monica Crowley on Fox News, you can pretty much expect her to come up with some outlandish, unsubstantiated conspiracy theory. Last night’s case in point: Crowley announced on The O’Reilly Factor: The welfare program in this country was geared toward building incentives so that women would have more and more children out of wedlock because they would get more money based on a child.

Crowley’s pronouncement, which was part of a larger discussion as to whether or not we were better off in the 1950’s, was unchallenged by Bill O’Reilly. But the other guest, Alan Colmes, was astounded. He said, “Women have children just to get more money from the government? Are you kidding me?”

No, she wasn’t.

O’Reilly, who had mostly bent over backwards to remain fair, finally let forth that we’re a different country since the 50’s. Then he added, “And the reason we’re a different country is that people are no longer self-reliant or respectful. Or respectful. They want what they want and if they don’t earn it, they feel they’re entitled to it anyway. That’s the big difference!”

Of course, O’Reilly was not talking about the feelings of entitlement of the 1% who can’t stand the thought of paying more taxes or want to chop away at the social safety nets of others. No, he was talking about those 47% he can’t seem to stop presenting as moochers.

Kevin, I’ve got that clip and the post is on its way.

There was an interesting and telling moment on Wednesday night. In the middle of a refreshing session on the President’s proposed Budget wherein O’Reilly got in some Obama bashing (I know that will be a surprise for some…), he offered this gem: the only hope for America is for the GOP to win the 2014 midterm elections. Give him points at least for directly saying what he’s advocating. So now he cannot say that he’s impartial.

O’Reilly allmost lost it, again, when Colmes questioned the “thoroughness” of “Government numbers” coming from the 50’s and 60’s.
With the exception of the last Bush Administration, this might be the first time on his TV show that he defended any numbers the Government has put forth.
He appears to me to be chomping at the bit to jump down a “Liberals” throat and doesn’t mind interupting them to do it.
Meanwhile, Conservatives like Crowley are allowed to spew lies and misinformation and the only time O’Reilly interupts them is to pile on even more to whatever Dem or Liberal is being attacked by the Conservative.
My prediction is that O’Reilly will “go nuts” on Colmes before the end of the month. Probably next week over Tax day.

From Antoinette’s comment:

“Billy says, “… and the reason we’re a different country is that people are no longer self-reliant or respectful. Or respectful.””

No O’Lielly, the REAL reason we’re a different country is because there are simply TOO MANY pompous and arrogant “born on third base but think they hit a triple” blowhards like YOU who spew nothing but HOT AIR 24/7/365. is it any wonder why today Al Gore and lots of reputable scientists are sounding the alarm about GLOBAL WARMING?

;^)

Billy says, “… and the reason we’re a different country is that people are no longer self-reliant or respectful. Or respectful.” Strange comment coming from a man who blows his top off every time people disagrees with him, and has a foul mouth.

He is in no position to talk about respect given his betrayal of his now ex-wife with Andrea, how he treats her today, and his child.

NOTE TO BILLY

You are the one who is disrespectful. You curse like a sailor, and you treat your ex-wife like trash. Your behavior would never be accepted in the 1950’s. Look in the mirror next time.

Bill is wrong about the superiority of the 1950s. Things have really gone downhill for us since the industrial revolution. Oh sure that era saw an increase in overall income and population growth, but frankly prior to the Industrial Revolution most people were farmers. People who grow their own food are so much more self-reliant and hard working than 1950s types with their fancy automobiles and clothes washing machines. And talk about respectful! People with only a 3rd grade education had a holy reverence for public institutions and the educated people who worked in such places. The people of the 1810s just had their act together didn’t they?

Dear God,

I don’t care how you do it, miracle a wake-up call for the ‘people’ on Fox News. We’ve been praying for that for over a decade, how much longer do we have to wait?

Sounds like the old Ronald Reagan welfare queen trick.

Wow, that was weird. I wrote Ronald Reagan and I didn’t hear angels singing.

One assumes that Crowley also opposes Planned Parenthood where poor women can get birth control and abortions. It’s a complex world.

If Monica Crowley made political predictions, she'd be Dick Morris.
