Monica Crowley Conspiracy Theory Of The Day: Anthony Weiner’s Wife Part Of Creeping Sharia

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on July 29, 2013 · Flag

On Friday night (7/26/13), the Hannity show offered another “studio audience” show which, like most such Hannity shows, was little more than a panel discussion with a larger collection of the usual guests discussing the usual Hannity subjects. In this particular segment, the topic was, as Hannity pal Bill Cunningham put it, “Anthony’s Weiner case.” But perhaps because this was a special show, the panel didn’t just settle for run-of-the-mill smears of Democrats. No, for that night, they came up with a treat for their right-wing audience: accusing Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, of being connected to Islamic "supremacists" and, possibly, Hillary Clinton, the potential 2016 presidential candidate.

It started with Hannity calling on Brooke Goldstein, of the anti-Islamic Lawfare Project. She said about Weiner:

What’s amazing to me is that we’re spending time debating Schmeckle-gate, OK? When Huma Abedin, who has connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, who was connected to the chief financier of al-Qaeda, is his wife and has top security clearance.

As Think Progress points out and liberal panelist Sally Kohn spoke about briefly, this is a baseless conspiracy theory promoted by the likes of Michele Bachmann. But Hannity replied, “This a great point.”

Apparently, Monica Crowley, Fox News’ resident conspiracy-theorist extraordinaire, could not resist jumping in. She said:

Actually, what Brooke points to, that’s the real Huma Abedin story. It’s not about Weiner’s wiener. It’s about Huma Abedin and her ties to Islamic supremacists. That’s the real story.

Bo Dietl, another panelist, added, “And also assistant to our Secretary…”

Crowley continued, “…of State and soon to be maybe next president of the united states. That’s what this story is really all about.”

It’s hard to decide whether this latest Crowley conspiracy theory tops her allegation in which she blamed the Obama administration for her decision not to eat a cheeseburger, but if not, it certainly comes close.

just so we’re clear… I’m not calling McCarthy a liar, I’m calling him a moron. Like Beck and Jones, all he does is fling crap until someone swallows one of the loads.

Unlike Beck and Jones, no one thinks he’s worth spending the two minutes on, because even a lot of the far right think he’s a retard.

Andrew McCarthy’s the one that wrote all those books trying to claim that there’s some grand Jihadist plot that the left had been working on during the Bush years, right?

Because I honestly keep getting him confused with Alex Jones.

“But McCarthy’s credibility certainly is in question. While McCarthy first gained fame for prosecuting the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, in recent years he has become known for his viciously anti-Muslim rhetoric and adoption of conspiracy theories.”

And is this Hogrider Kafir person not anti-Muslim as he/she claims? If you have a Facebook account, you can decide that for yourself.

@hogrider Kafir,if you disagree with what I said about Monica that is your perogative and I respect that.I have never heard a kind honest word come out of this woman’s mouth. She says the most vile things about anything and anybody she disagrees with, therefore in my opinion she has a diseased mind.No need to go on with this discussion,we disagree, over and out.

Monica Crowley is as vile as Coulter, perhaps even more so. She is filled with zealous hatred of all things non-christian or non-republican. And Hog, quoting Breitfart around here will only earn you scorn & ridicule. Go back to FOX Nation and scream about Muslims. They’ll listen to you there.

IOKIYAR, MJ… you know that. That is why Samah Norquist and Prince Alwaleed bin Talal are exempt from any and all scrutiny…

Despite that both of them bear very open, direct ties to agents of Sharia Law than Fox News even dares to make up about their Muslim targets.

Oh, and for our friend Hog: Considering that Fox News will run phony pictures three weeks past debunking, it’s a wonder Fox News took until now to get around to this “story.”

You know, considering that Breitbart was passing it around a year ago.

Hey, Monica — didja know Grover “the Pledge” Norquist’s wife, Samah Alrayyes, is a Palestinian Muslim?

Is she part of “creeping Sharia”, too?

@ mlp: Given the offensive slur that the “hogrider” uses as the second part of his pseudonym, I don’t think the troll knows the meaning of either “factual” or “reputable.”

Strike 1: Breitbart as a reputable source.
Strike 2: Andrew C. McCarthy as a “truthteller”.

So….do you have anything factual or reputable?
