Thank you, doors17. I was very impressed with Professor Shrader. I found him extremely knowledgeable and substantive, which is a rarity in my experience.

Aria, what I meant about older, white people was not so much that older white people are racist but that Fox is playing and/or preying on the emotions of that crowd. I probably could have said it better but it’s hard when you’re on the radio (at least for me) and you don’t have time to really pause and gather thoughts.

Anyway, I had a good time and I very much enjoyed the discussion as well as Professor Shrader’s perspective. I also appreciate the feedback here.

I’m very familiar with John Shrader from his many years at radio station KNBR in San Francisco where he was the voice of San Jose State sports. I never heard heard him talk politics before since he was at a all sports talk station for 15 years, but I thought he did a very good interview with you and was very polite and showed true professionalism, which sadly seems rare today.

It seriously made my day when The Five was compared to ESPN’s First Look. I am not kidding about that. Now, off to the sewer to see how you-know-who lies about your comment about the “old white people” mentality of Fox’s audience.

When I heard that, my first thought was you maybe could have worded that a little better, only part where I thought that, BTW… But he’s still gonna have to produce a pretty serious spin to convince people you meant it as well, anything but Fox News has a lot of racist older white people watching.

EL 84, thank God he didn’t ask me about that. Maybe it will be on the CNBC debate tonight, though. :)

I want to know Ellen’s take on Hillary’s “high bar” trade partnerships, and how they will affect women’s employment and wages here in the U.S.
