Hannity's And Beck's Massively Disproportionate Focus On ACORN Vs. Other Scandals

Those America lovers, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, seem to have some serious blinders when it comes to scandals involving taxpayer money. Media Matters did a bit of research and surprise! Surprise! Despite the fact that the two self-described patriots claim to be concerned about wasting "taxpayer dollars," they have consistently overlooked or offered minimal coverage of extensive fraud at Halliburton and KBR as well as the scandals involving the private security contractor Blackwater (now Xe), lobbyist Jack Abramoff and Rep. Bob Ney. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that ACORN involves minorities and Democrats while the other scandals implicate Republicans.

What a Difference Four Years Make - Flip Flopping (as in McCain) is Now Churchillian

Remember back in 2004 when all we heard from the right was the Swift Boating of John Kerry's military record and endless chatter about his flip flops, flip flops, flip flops? Well, now that John McCain is flip flopping like a desperate fish gasping for air, the right is comparing flip flopping to Winston Churchill. Ah, yeah. (You can't make this stuff up.)

The Fascists at Fox Want Harry Reid and Barbara Boxer to Shut Up

Brian Bilbray, the Republican who was elected to the House last year to replace Randy "Duke" Cunningham, blew a fuse today (October 24, 2007) on Your World w/Neil Cavuto in response to recent comments made by Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid. He was on to respond to the comment Reid made yesterday that “One reason why we have the fires in California is global warming,” and Boxer's remark that the California National Guard is operating with half the equipment it needs because of the war in Iraq.
