Fox’s John Bolton: The Arab States Will Be “Very Happy” If Israel Bombs Iran

While the media has been focusing on Herman Cain and Rick Perry, Fox News chickenhawks are salivating again to bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. Last week (11/7/11), former U.N. Ambassador and Fox News contributor John Bolton not only argued that the situation is so urgent that military action should have already been taken, he announced that the Arab States will be “very happy” once it does. Hmmm, didn’t we hear something similar in the run up to the invasion of Iraq? Host Greta Van Susteren didn’t seem to notice.

Herman Cain Ready To Go To War Against Iran

Herman Cain may be fuzzy about the details of sexual harassment charges against him but he made it crystal clear that if he’s elected president, we’ll be at war with Iran. That seemed too much, even for Bill O’Reilly.

Sen. Lindsey Graham Thinks Of His Fox News Sunday Audience As The 2012 Republican Candidates

Senator Lindsey Graham visited Fox News Sunday today to attack discuss President Obama’s foreign policy, especially regarding his announcement that all U.S. troops will be withdrawn from Iraq by January 1. In the middle of the interview, host Chris Wallace revealed that Graham had said (privately, presumably) that he thought of his audience for the segment as the 2012 Republican candidates. Instead of challenging Graham’s notion that the show caters to Republicans, Wallace asked Lindsey to expound on whatever message he had for them.

John Bolton: Obama Sabotaged Negotiations With Iraq In Order To Withdraw Our Troops

It’s not very surprising that Fox News reacted to President Obama’s announcement that all American troops will leave Iraq by the end of the year pretty much the same way the “fair and balanced” network reacted to the death of Qaddafi and even Osama Bin Laden – by immediately finding ways to diminish and denigrate Obama. But Fox News contributor and former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton took the tactic to new lows when he announced tonight on On The Record that President Obama had deliberately undermined negotiations with Iraq to leave some of our forces there after January 1, 2012, the date President Bush negotiated for us to depart.

Greta Van Susteren And Byron York Can’t Understand Why President Obama Called Out Reporter Ed Henry

Memo to Greta Van Susteren and Byron York. This may be hard for you to understand – seeing as you two are great Fox News fans – but the reason President Obama called out Fox White House correspondent Ed Henry for using Republican talking points was probably because… Henry was using Republican points in the form of a question. Or to put it another way, when Henry used Mitt Romney’s attack on Obama’s handling of foreign policy and rephrased it as a question about Obama’s handling of the Iran terror plot, it quacked just like... Republican talking points!
