It wasn’t easy but Sean Hannity outdid Megyn Kelly in dishonestly making the Prince Andrew underage sex scandal about Bill Clinton. Just like Kelly, Hannity did it without a lick of evidence to show Clinton’s involvement! He did, however, have Ann Coulter.
As I wrote in my post about Kelly’s slimy efforts, the case involves the sexual improprieties of one Jeffrey Epstein, a business tycoon who had friends in high places. In 2008, Epstein was sentenced to 18 months in prison for soliciting prostitution. However, authorities said he also paid women, some of them under age, to give him massages that were more than just massages.
Now, as the New York Times reports, new allegations have surfaced that “Epstein forced a teenage girl to have sexual relations with several men, including Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth’s second son, and Alan M. Dershowitz, a professor emeritus at Harvard Law School. Both men have denied the allegations.”
The only connection to Bill Clinton is, as Coulter put it, the fact that many contact phone numbers for Clinton were found in Epstein’s “little black book” and that Clinton was known to have flown to Epstein’s island mansion where some of the sex parties allegedly took place. However, nobody has placed Clinton at any of them. The woman alleging she was forced to engage in sex with Prince Andrew specifically said she was never “lent out” to Clinton.
But details are for other people, not Sean Hannity! He said in his introduction, “President Clinton has some explaining to do.” Hannity noted that Clinton severed ties with Epstein in 2005, after he was arrested. “But what does this new connection mean, if anything?” Hannity disingenuously “asked.”
And who better to consult than Ann Coulter? As I wrote about a previous time Hannity trotted her out to comment on Clinton, just because she has called Clinton “a very good rapist” and a “scumbag” is no reason to think she wouldn’t be fair and balanced, Fox News style.
Or maybe not.
“This is a really important story and I so love that you’re pitching it just as a Clinton sex scandal,” Coulter said. “…This is not just a Clinton sex scandal. This is the elites getting cozy and covering up and protecting one another.”
Oh, you mean like Donald Trump? In 2002, Trump called Epstein a “terrific guy” who’s “a lot of fun to be with.” Trump also seemed to have an inkling of Epstein’s peccadillos: “It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it—Jeffrey enjoys his social life.” No, that never came up.
Coulter went into great detail about the Epstein legal case, without noting –as at least The Kelly File did - that the Bush administration kind of let him off the hook.
But apparently, Bush is another of the elitists whose involvement in the case doesn’t count.
Coulter wrongly claimed that the new accusations included Bill Clinton in the Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz underage sexcapades.
However, Fox’s reporting explicitly stated otherwise. Fox reporter Trace Gallagher said so last night on The Kelly File (which Coulter claimed to have watched). Earlier in the day, FoxNews.com reported, “Bill Clinton was not named in the complaint and there’s no evidence linking him to the alleged sex parties.”
But Hannity didn’t say a word to correct the record. Instead, he worked to distort it.
HANNITY: Let me go specifically to the Clinton side of this which we didn’t mention. But he flew, according to reports with Epstein, to the Caribbean to what is like this orgy mansion of his and where the allegations that sex with underage girls was happening and girls being paid for sexual contact.
“Obviously, that doesn’t prove any guilt,” Coulter said.
But it’s funny how nobody mentioned, as The Sydney Morning Herald reported, “Mr Clinton was one of many high-profile friends of Epstein to visit his private island and fly on his jet.” Nor that “'The message pads confiscated from Epstein’s home indicated that Trump called Epstein’s West Palm Beach mansion on several occasions during the time period most relevant to my client’s complaints,' say the documents.”
Watch it below, from the January 6 Hannity show.
NOBODY DIED WHEN CLINTON LIED!
’Nuff said.
As for the sex scandal that Hannocchio and his long time girlfriend, Annie are trying to push, it will only gain traction in the U.K. since it involves Prince Andrew-unless it involves a U.S. Republican.
If this gray hair wolf is looking for a sex scandal we can help him. It involves a male public figure who cheats on his wife by using a sex phone service. This service does not reveal the callers’ names, therefore it can never be traced back to the caller.
A popular figure once said, ‘if you are going to cheat on your spouse be smart about it.’
Coming down the pipeline. Conservative masses are in total shock.
None of this changes the fact that Scalise is likely to be forced to either step down or seriously reduce his profile in short order. Or the fact that McDonnell and his wife are about to serve real time in prison, whether the GOP and Fox News like it or not.
It was Hannity who kept trying to tie it to Clinton, and while Coulter didn’t refute that, she didn’t pile on, either. She is an attorney, unlike Hannity, and has apparently some remnant of ethics when it comes to actual legal filings.
