Sean Hannity made the Terri Schiavo story a cause celebre. And it’s been a downhill slide for the GOP ever since. Look no further when examining how the Republicans (and I am one) got to where they are now-with a hopelessly unqualified buffoon as their presidential nominee.

Hannity’s desperation is really starting to show now. There’s nothing going on at Fox News or in this campaign that he remotely likes. He wanted to see Ted Cruz get the nomination and he wanted to see Newt Gingrich get the VP slot. Instead, he’s forced to defend Trump on nonsensical grounds and he is stuck with a VP nominee he didn’t want. Add to that the continuing mayhem inside Fox News, where his greatest protector is now gone. Hannity has to know that he may be the most vulnerable prime time host they have, and he won’t have anywhere to turn once he loses his position at Fox News.

And there’s an added injustice for Hannity: Rush Limbaugh is apparently being retained for another 4 years by Clear Channel. Hannity was thinking Limbaugh would be retiring soon, thus giving Hannity the potential number one position for right wing radio shouters. Instead, Limbaugh will continue limping along (and continue losing radio stations and markets) for another few years, and Hannity will continue to stand by, hoping he can somehow inherit Limbaugh’s mantle in the end.

The fact that the polling has continued to slide badly for Trump hasn’t been lost on Hannity. Between the Ailes ouster and the potential four years of Hillary Clinton in the White House, he has to be wondering where he’ll be standing in another year. My thinking is that he tries to hang on as long as he can, particularly given that he really doesn’t have any standing after he leaves Fox News.

Funny thing is, as both Fox News and WSJ are News Corp properties, this is case of sibling rivalry.

Hannity: “Dad, Bret keeps hitting me!”
Stephens: “Am not!”
Hannity: “Am too!”
Stephens: “Am not!”
Rupert: “Behave, you two — or I’m pulling this car over! I mean it!”

Whenever any of these blowhards and cementheads get challenged or criticized (now even by their “own”), the first defense is the numbers game. How many listeners I have, how many Twitter followers, my ratings, my salary, etc., etc. That’s all they have???

Someone tell me how Slanthead is going to have any guests after the election. He has alienated most every Repub and Conservative in their bubble outside of Trumpsters and Palinites. Ryan, Cruz, McCain, McConnell and their like, would they come back to him. What’s he left with — Mayor 9/11, Gingrich, Santorum, Carson, Rubio cause he’ll suck up to anyone for air time, Rove, the fool Sheriff and his private collection of dependable “pundits”. Naples and internet radio seem to be looming in Slanthead’s near future.

Grandpa Hannocchio will come running to daddy Ruthless Rupy, crying his eyes out and telling him that his publication, Wall Street Journal has been mean to him.

This Long Island old hawk is a big baby. His son and nephews are bigger men than him.

The Stop Hannity Express says Hannocchio melts down very easily when he is attacked. He’s been this way all his life. He was a major headache at Santa Barbara, CA KCSB radio station in the late 1980s. His hot head clashed with the radio staff members. Eventually, the staff had enough of this skinny, loudmouth, dark-haired dumbass and threw him out. He had a major meltdown. NOTE TO JACKASS GRANDPA HANNITY

Wall Street Journal staff had a good laugh at your major meltdown. You brag about your audience numbers. So what! That does not change the fact that you are the ‘dumbest anchor’ on Fox “News.” You are a total embarrassment to 21st Century Fox, your family, extended family, relatives, and to Irish-Americans.

You lost to Michael Savage for National Radio Hall of Fame, despite being number 2 in the top 100 radio shows. To select him over you, says a lot about your so-called “audience.” You are irrelevant. No one cares about your message. You are old news.

The only dumbass is you. Once a dumbass, always a dumbass.

“Fair and balanced” is what Fox says, & yet their very saying of this shows how snake oil salesmen they are. They are masters at changing the subject matter when necessary & Sean loves to keep the white men angry. He’s hard to even look at as he lives on negativity.

Double trouble for Trump. This Twitter feud is more proof of an internal civil war in the GOP. Until The Donald consolidates his base he can’t focus on expanding it beyond the [mostly] white male primary bigots who are about all who support him for who he is.

Sean? He’s a diehard partisan. Left building Trump support by attacking Hillary.

Because we know Hillary, like Obama, trying to get a Supreme Court nominee through a Republican Senate will nominate a partisan extremist as bad as a Republican President will cram through a Republican Senate. Yeah, right. But wait… Merrick Garland…
