Stuart Varney and Doug Schoen teamed up to suggest that President Obama was just not patriotic enough to attend the France unity rally in Paris over the weekend.
Democratic wanker Schoen didn’t just help Varney, he wrote an oped for FoxNew.com saying how ashamed he was. And surprise, surprise, that got Schoen a perch on Your World yesterday to amplify.
SCHOEN: Basically, this was a chance to underscore our core values of freedom and liberty and we were MIA. …As an American patriot, I do not want to believe that it was deliberate. But it was at the very least gross negligence and, as I’ve said, involved an abdication of his responsibility as commander in chief.
But that wasn’t explicit enough for Fox.
VARNEY: Maybe the President just didn’t like the message that was being sent out from that demonstration. Vigorously anti-terror. Vigorously in favor of free speech.
“Democrat” Schoen replied, “Stuart, I believe he supports free speech. I’m not sure in terms of global terror, specifically Islamic terror, what he believes.”
“Doesn’t it fit into a pattern?” Varney “asked.”
And Schoen played right along. “It reflects the worst impulses of our nation,” he said.
Really? The worst impulses?
