From Rick Perry’s Campaign To Fox News’ Website
The only guest on Fox News Sunday today was Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry. As Chris Wallace said in his introduction, Perry’s “campaign staffers talk about trying to reboot Perry 2.0.” Well, Mission Accomplished on FoxNews.com! They called their video of the segment, “Rick Perry Reboots Presidential Campaign.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham Thinks Of His Fox News Sunday Audience As The 2012 Republican Candidates
Senator Lindsey Graham visited Fox News Sunday today to attack discuss President Obama’s foreign policy, especially regarding his announcement that all U.S. troops will be withdrawn from Iraq by January 1. In the middle of the interview, host Chris Wallace revealed that Graham had said (privately, presumably) that he thought of his audience for the segment as the 2012 Republican candidates. Instead of challenging Graham’s notion that the show caters to Republicans, Wallace asked Lindsey to expound on whatever message he had for them.

Documents Contradict Darrell Issa’s Fast And Furious Claims. Will Fox News Call Back Its Body Language Expert To Ask If He Deceived?
Earlier in the week, Bill O’Reilly trotted out his resident “body language expert,” Tonya Reiman, to analyze Attorney General Eric Holder’s gestures when he testified to Congress to suggest he lied determine whether or not he lied about when he learned about the botched gunrunning sting operation called Fast and Furious run by the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) division. At the time, I suggested (albeit sarcastically) that given Issa’s record of hyper-partisanship, multiple arrests and even an accusation of arson by a former business colleague, his body language might have been worth analyzing, too. A new report by TPMMuckraker makes the case for doubting Issa even more compelling as it notes that despite his previous denials, documentation has come forward to show that he was briefed on the details of Fast and Furious and did not object. In other words, the same charges Issa is throwing at Holder might well stick to himself. Will “fair and balanced” Fox News investigate this with the same aggressiveness they’ve shown toward Holder? Don’t hold your breath.

Chris Wallace Helps Further Rep. Darrell Issa’s Fast And Furious Witch Hunt
Let me start by saying that I think the Fast and Furious gunrunning scheme of the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms department should be investigated. But any media outlet worth its salt would keep a careful eye on any investigation overseen by the hyper-partisan, ethically challenged, and criminally suspect Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Darrell Issa. Not Fox News, of course. They’re so breathlessly credulous about Issa’s investigation the two might as well be working hand-in-hand. Oh, wait, maybe they are. On Sunday (10/9/11), Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace made some moves to look fair and objective but Wallace’s focus was in the same place as Issa’s: Eric Holder. But if Fox News cares so much about mistakes in government costing American lives, where’s its interest in how we got into a war based on faulty intelligence?

In The Middle Of Irene, Fox News Showcases Ron Paul's Desire To Abolish FEMA
I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Fox News Sunday chose Republican gadfly Ron Paul for today’s chapter of their “2012 One on One” series showcasing interviewing Republican presidential candidates – right in the middle of 24/7 Irene coverage that was sure to upstage him. Not surprisingly, host Chris Wallace led off by confronting Paul for his comments saying he’d like to abolish FEMA.
