On the July30 America Live, conservative radio host and regular guest Chris Plante discussed an upcoming Hillary Clinton miniseries on NBC Entertainment. As Media Matters has noted, the series raises serious concerns about a conflict of interest with NBC News’ coverage of Mrs. Clinton, especially since the miniseries' timing has not been determined and, therefore, could air after she has declared her presidential candidacy. But Plante chose the low road to criticizing the film by making a nasty crack about Clinton’s looks – and then took a dig at Monica Lewinsky’s for good measure.
Plante said,
Casting Diane Lane as - the lovely Diane Lane as Hillary Clinton is enough of a tip off as to where this is going to go. You know, personally, I would cast Philip Seymour Hoffman to play Hillary Clinton. But this is like casting Angelina Jolie to play Monica Lewinsky or something.
To her credit, host Shannon Bream objected: “Noooooo, nooo.”
Fox News Democrat Leslie Marshall uttered a good-natured response: “No, oh, you had to go there.”
Of course, as News Hounds Priscilla pointed out, it's more than a tad hypocritical for Fox to be accusing any other network of political bias. But even when they have a point, they can't seem to make it legitimately.
This Plante has bad seeds that runs in the family. If you think Chrissy is bad, his brother Dan is a serious piece of work. Glad this sad excuse for a “news” man was fired from that station in California.

We are casting a film and we need a actor to play a garbage man. You are perfect for the role. You have experience in spewing out garbage on the air. Your character’s name is Jack Ass. By the way, say hello to your classless, untalented brother, Dan.

But, oh, they howled with laughter at Steven Crowder’s sexist and possibly actionable portrayal of Nancy Pelosi as a mentally ill, sex-starved he/she.
As to all the, ahem, “concern” about NBC doing this biopic on Hillary, it seems rather hypocritical considering FOX “news” put out a documentary which basically told us just how much like Abraham Lincoln Dubya was. And there was also a NewsCorp project aired on NatGeo which sought to remind us what an awesome leader Bush was after the 9/11 attacks.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Fox “news”/NewsCorp managed to run some kind of anti-Hillary special should she get the nomination. After all, the right-wingers, tea partiers, Citizen United folks, etc. are definitely going to be looking for a media outlet to air a documentary, etc. that bolsters the conservative point of view/candidate.
Btw, CNN is going to do a Hillary documentary too.
Perhaps, Alaska or Ivy Winters (from Season 5), maybe Tammie Brown (from Season 1) or Pandora Boxx (from Season 2). They could even do the role in full drag (maybe with toned-down makeup) and STILL act more manly than Plante. (Not really sure if any would be willing to be a character that stupid, but you never can tell.)
