Fox News has announced its new prime time schedule. Starting October 7, we'll have Greta Van Susteren hosting On The Record at 7 PM ET, The O'Reilly Factor staying put at 8 PM, Megyn Kelly hosting "The Kelly File" at 9 PM and Hannity at 10.
According to the Fox News press release, it looks like the network is doing some serious scrutiny of and revamping of the Hannity show, including, oddly, putting a good chunk of it on tape instead of live:
Moving to the 10-11PM/ET timeslot, Hannity, will continue showcasing Sean Hannity’s provocative style and conservative commentary on politics and the American agenda. The show will also provide a highly interactive viewing experience utilizing tools such as viewer voting and the Hannity Live companion app, a web experience allowing viewers to gain access to exclusive content directly from the show producers in the control room. Hannity will also travel even more across America and expand his studio audience specials like the show’s College Forum.
...In commenting on the move, Hannity said, “I am very happy to be moving to 10PM. The ability to be live or on tape greatly increases the flexibility of the show and offers me, after 17 years, the opportunity to be home at night with my family.”
So, it looks like I was wrong in my prediction that Hannity would be the one to get the earlier time.
10 – butt-face
The Stop Hannity Express expects the aging television star to tape most of his shows. On occasion his shows will be live.
Hannocchio’s travels, hotels, meals and security detail will be paid for by News Corporation. That little detail was left out.
We stated earlier that Hannocchio would revamp himself to bring in younger viewers. His efforts will be fruitless. The 20-something crowd can’t relate to a old man like Hannocchio. In person, he looks 10 years older than his real age of 51.
Billy would of had a hissy fit if they changed his time slot. The man goes ballistic when the Second Floor makes changes to his program. Sometimes Nixon trainee Roger Ailes has to act like a referee to calm this Irish volcano.
Barbie Kelly’s new show, The Kelly File, is lame as the host. The far, far right are not fans of this middle aged broad. Wait for the comments to roll in.
The Shineman is a poor excuse for a vp. He should have been tossed out years ago. Producer Finman is a joke. This sad excuse of a cafeteria Catholic couldn’t produce a burlesque show.
