Fox News Outrageous Quote Of The Week Poll 8/11/13 – 8/17/13

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on August 18, 2013 · Flag

Here we go again. Although we found fewer outrageous quotes on Fox News last week than usual, we still need your help in determining which one was the MOST outrageous. Because while many can be nominated, only one can win The Most Outrageous Quote Of The Week title. Click on, dear readers, if you dare!

This week’s nominees are:

Gretchen Carlson: “Can you imagine now, the boys want to go into the girls bathroom and the girls want to go into the boys bathroom, and they can just say, ‘Oh, well, I was transgender for the moment I just can’t get my head around this.’”

Donald Trump: “(A)ctually, the people I resonate best with are poor people and people that are really blue collar. That seems to be a base that I have. I have a tremendous base. Those are the people that like me. …I think the people that like me the least are the rich people.”

Mike Huckabee, discussing Ted Nugent’s “mystical, wonderful” hunting dog: “Well, Maybe we ought to turn him loose on some Democrats and see if he can hunt them, too.”

Peter Johnson, Jr, fearmongering about the consequences of suspending New York’s “stop and frisk” policy: “The likelihood is, in my view, that the murder rate in New York City will skyrocket.”

Ah Trumpy, coming down from his cloud in the sky to reassure us that the dirty peasants toiling on the Earth below are his true BFF’s and not the rich people he prefers to mingle with on a regular basis. The air inside his delusional bubble is truly poisonous. I voted for The Donald, of course.

For the second week in a row, I’ve got to go with the Huckster. A holy man wishing violence on his fellow humans? Promoting dog attacks? He really does seem to be following in the Robertson/Falwell vein.

A man of the church aligning himself with Ted Nugent?
Hatred sure does make for strange bedfellows!

Mike Huckabee seems to be positioning himself to be the heir apparent for the Pat Robertson loons when Pat kicks the bucket.

Huck in a runaway…

Not really sure that tRump’s comment is as much outrageous as it is simply delusional. If anything, I’d say one of his kids should use the comment to have “Daddy Dearest” committed to an institution. Obviously, someone who actually believes that has to be a danger to himself and shouldn’t be allowed to be among the general public.

All the nominees—-Retchin, Birther Boy Donnie, Gomer the Huckster and Penis3—-are all so deserving. I will go with Birther Boy. What an arrogant asshole!

Though I agree Huckabee’s comment was more outrageous, I went the road less traveled and picked Carlson’s comment, because that’s the stupidest thing I’ve heard this month that wasn’t from Greg Gutfeld’s mouth.
