Fox Host Charles Payne Is Being Sued For Taking $50,000 Advance And Not Delivering A Manuscript

It's not sexual harassment, but Fox Business host Charles Payne has been sued by Hachette Book Group for "cashing in on a $50,000 advance and failing to deliver a manuscript." He was supposed to have done so by February 1, 2016.

The Daily News has reported, “[W]hen Payne’s deadline approached, he told Hachette he would not be delivering the manuscript, according to court papers.” The lawsuit said Payne “failed and refused to pay the $50,000.” Hachette wants “payment plus interest.”

This is not the first time Payne has gotten into legal trouble. In 2013, Payne ponied up a civil penalty of $25,000, without admitting or denying wrongdoing, after the Securities and Exchange Commission accused him of recommending stocks without disclosing that he had received payment from those companies to promote their stocks.

Let's see, we've got sexual harassment, racial discrimination and now this. They’ve got quite a crew there at Fox News!

Watch Payne promote stocks below, from the April 9, 2015 Your World.

Just a minor misunderstanding. Charles’ book “Everything I Know About Ethics” being nothing but blank pages isn’t a bug, it’s a feature.

Guess Chuck has been taking lessons from another Fox figure who made a promise and didn’t follow up: Sean Hannity.

Dunno what the problem was, though — it’s not as though Chuck had to write it himself; all he had to do was utilize one of Sarah Palin or BillO’s ghostwriters, both of whom should be available, as their clients are both unemployed . . .
