Donald Trump’s newly-released immigration plan is an attack on the 14th Amendment and a border expert says it could kill the El Paso, Texas economy. But the three “patriotic” hosts of Fox & Friends all but got out of the pompoms to cheer it.
Vox.com said in its detailed analysis, “The plan promises to exact a major humanitarian toll on millions of unauthorized immigrants, prospective future immigrants, and refugees and asylum-seekers fleeing oppression. Furthermore, “Despite Trump’s insistence in interviews that unauthorized immigrants in the US ‘have to go,’ his plan doesn’t focus on deporting them.” Instead, “Trump wants to make life so difficult for unauthorized immigrants they’d leave on their own.” Think Progress called it “even more racist than you think it is.”
In a report from Fox affiliate KFOX TV, in El Paso, the University of Texas’ director of the Center for Interamerican and Border Studies, said Trump’s proposed immigration policy “is definitely an act on the fourteenth amendment” and “I think frankly the proposals there will kill the economy of El Paso. It will be a disaster specifically for El Paso.”
But the hosts of Fox & Friends either didn't notice or didn't care about those drawbacks. They were too busy cheerleading:
BRIAN KILMEADE: Let’s look at what Donald Trump is doing. He’s doing what he promised when it came to one of the most substantive and consequential issues out there. He’s put together a detailed immigration plan.
ELISABETH HASSELBECK: Some saying initially that he was too vague. Strong on his delivery, but vague on the details. But now the details have come forward. He said he wants a wall across the southern border, and he’s calling for deportation of millions of immigrants in the United States that are here illegally. Also ending of automatic citizenship for children… born to foreigners in the United States.
Really making a differentiation there between his plan and what Jeb Bush has laid out thus far. Also saying the plan must improve jobs, wages, and security for all Americans. He lays out on his website the three core principles on immigration reform which this is founded on: that it’s not a nation if it doesn’t have borders, a nation without laws is not a nation, and a nation that does not serve its own citizens is not a nation.
STEVE DOOCY: Absolutely. So for the candidate who had been - you know, the critics have said, you know, he’s all style, no substance - he’s come out with this remarkable political document on immigration. He sat down with, actually stood up in his 757 yesterday, for part of the interview with Chuck Todd on Meet the Press.
Kilmeade was the only kinda sorta “balance.” He said, “A lot of this is aspirational. You’re not gonna kick out 20 million, 30 million people, 12 million, depending on the number. You’ve got to find them first.”
But Doocy more than made up for that with the effusive praise that followed.
DOOCY: It’s an early Christmas gift to conservatives who have looked at the immigration problem in this country and have said, “Can’t anybody do anything?”
Doocy went on to quote Ann Coulter who called the plan, “The greatest political document since the Magna Carta” and “nothing else matters unless we stop third worlders pouring in.” Doocy also quoted praise from Republican Senator Jeff Sessions, “probably one of the top conservative lawmakers on immigration,” saying, “This is exactly the plan America needs,” and the right-wing Center for Immigration studies: “We wish we could say we worked with Donald Trump on this.”
For more “balance,” Kilmeade cited Hillary Clinton. First, he joked that she agreed with Coulter. Then Kilmeade said Clinton "couldn’t be more disagreeable but that’s what makes a presidential race.”
Donald Trump may have taunted Fox News chief Roger Ailes on Saturday but didn't put a dent in these Fox News hosts' affection.
Watch them slobber over Trump like newly reconciled lovers below, from the August 17 Fox & Friends, via Media Matters.
Place a moratorium on all immigration from Mexico they have more than exceeded their quota for the next 40 years. Eliminate any and all benefits for illegals. Pass E-verify and voter ID, deny any government assistance to any Sanctuary city, and fine those that harbor or employ them. Deny any visas from counties who provide any form of assistance to our Islamic terrorist enemies, and process those immigrants who came here legally prior to a moratorium, and refuse any one from anywhere that came here illegally. Put the illegal criminals as well as our own in a max security prison in mid Alaska, if they escape let them expire from frost bite. Not only would that create jobs it would be cheaper than a wall. Build towers on our borders built of concrete with electrified razor wire for surveillance and hire our retuning veterans by increasing the number of BP agents; Also, hire veterans to replace the incompetent TSA agents at our airports and point of entry. They already know what to look for.
I do agree with Trump on his point to heavily tax those businesses who left but still do business with us using the cheap labor they hire. Reduce the highest business tax in the world and reduce government intervention by regulation on businesses to encourage them to stay, return, and other businesses to be established.

As a portal to the festering issue of the illegal alien invasion, Donald Trump have awakened the American people to the massive costs granted to foreign nationals who broke the law. There illegal access to this sovereign country has been compromised by far reaching illegal executive orders by King Obama, in not removing them once they arrive. Daily tracks of people who cross poorly enforced open border, that extend for miles from the Pacific Ocean to Brownsville, Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. Huge open regions where there is little evidence of enforcement or where the U.S. Border Patrol is forbidden to enter without permission by the Bureau of Land management permission.
It was only after the public outrage for the murder of Kate Steinle in the Sanctuary City of San Francisco, there has been more homicides, that is currently being publicized of the latest carnage caused by foreigners; the deaths Americans by illegal aliens and elsewhere nationwide. Even before this month was over 4 more murders have been reported, who was supposedly deported but still walking free? The consequences were the ugly death of three people in Lee County, Florida on August 11.
Fort Myers police said that the alleged murderer was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the road. The car he drove was a white Range Rover that was registered to the Dorla Pitts’. The illegal alien namely Brian Hyde is accused of murdering his aunt, her pregnant daughter, and her boyfriend. The suspect is 19-year-old Belize national Brian Omar Hyde. The victims have been named as his aunt, Dorla Pitts, 37, his cousin, Starlette Pitts, 17, and her boyfriend, Michael Kelly Jr., 19. The incident occurred in the small town of Lehigh Acres, close to Fort Myers. A newspaper reported that Hyde entered the U.S. illegally through the Texas border in January 2015.
The Obama administration has directly added to the increase of illegal aliens with criminal records roaming the streets. In 2013 alone, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released 36,007 convicted illegal aliens who were being detained pending deportation, including 193 convicted for homicide and 426 for sexual assault. Some of the released illegal aliens have gone on to commit more crimes against innocent American citizens.
For millions of Conservatives, Tea Party followers, Democrats Americans that have originally given up in bothering to vote have arisen in a binding trust in Donald Trump who has pledged to build a giant wall, and stop the never ending stream of illegal alien families and criminal aliens. Trump has petrified the usual lobbyists who cannot by his favors? He has become an outcast from the GOP career politicians, who are always the monetary winners in both political parties, but have never come up against an ‘Outsider’ as Donald Trump. He told a reporter from ‘Meet the Press’ on his jet that one lobbyist had cornered him, offering 5 million dollars towards his campaign?
Trump told him he didn’t need his money. Trump said he knew all the lobbyists and prior to his candidacy for the President, he would have used them for his business? Mr. Trump says Jeb Bush had received $140 million dollars, from wealthy benefactors, working for Special Interest. Hillary Clinton no different has collected her share of campaign contributions? Trump said he knows that sometime in the future any one of his potential mates will receive a call asking them for a favor? I say—it’s what you can call LEGAL BRIBERY?
But where illegal immigration is concerned, the cost on average annually of $500 Billion dollars can be cut way back. MANDATORY E-Verify that seeks illegal labor and employers going to prison for 5 years, would present to employers you follow the law or face the consequence. Illegal aliens they can no longer locate a job, will have no other avenue but to self-deport; A very serious form of Attrition?
The American people are listening carefully to Donald Trump manifesto on such items as Mandatory E-Verify and prison for employers who hire foreigners over citizens. Returning whole families with one US citizen child (called an Anchor Baby) who is stealing benefits from Americans. Trumps executive order to empower the government in stopping monetary remittances leaving the country from illegal workers here?
Of course illegal immigration is a primary issue for Donald Trump and now he is beginning to author in depth more of the other major problems that cause the serious problems which worry citizens. But none of this will matter if either Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton reaches the Oval Office, as it will business as usual. With these two personages the selling of the American people by the corrupt lawmakers in Washington is inevitable.
