Fox Cop Admits There’s No Evidence Connecting Black Lives Matter To Mugging Of Iraq Vet – But Blames Them Anyway

Fox Business host Deirdre Bolton teamed up with contributor Rod Wheeler to baselessly blame Black Lives Matter for the mugging of Iraq war veteran Chris Marquez and, while she was at it, Bolton suggested the group is responsible for the shooting of two police officers.

In another example of what passes for “business news” on the Fox Business Network, Bolton began with a news alert about the assault and robbery of Marquez by a group of African Americans who supposedly asked Marquez if black lives matter and when he didn’t respond, got called a racist. Fox News has hyped this story as well.

Bolton gave it a little extra racial zing by adding, “This brutal attack comes just days after police officers were shot in Mississippi and in Maryland.” She provided no evidence to connect the events but was clearly suggesting that Blacks Behaving Badly is now Out Of Control.

To add to the impression, Bolton’s first question to Wheeler, a former DC homicide detective, was,  “So, Rod, what is going on in our country?”

Wheeler’s surprising answer was that there’s reason to suspect Marquez’ account.

WHEELER: Let me just first tell you and the viewers that as far as this particular case is concerned with this veteran, I spoke with some investigators from our D.C. robbery squad today, Deirdre, and they have not been able to corroborate this guy’s story.

Yet Bolton did not ask a single question about what facts are now in dispute.

Instead Wheeler went on to further fan hostility against Black Lives Matter, just because it was possible the thugs were possibly inspired by the movement.

WHEELER: However, we do believe in law enforcement that maybe this group of knuckleheads, as what I like to call ‘em, there was a group of juveniles, maybe they were inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, maybe the individuals that shot the two police officers in this area, in Maryland, last week, maybe they were inspired by Black Lives Matter, we don’t know for sure, so I don’t want to automatically put this on Black Lives Matter but I will say this: a lot of the rhetoric, Deirdre, that we hear, coming from members of the Black Lives Matter movement is very violent, very hostile.

As further “evidence,” Wheeler claimed that some members of Black Lives Matter at an anti-Beyoncé demonstration he attended had been “very mean and hostile” to him “and I didn’t say anything to them.”

But if Wheeler was somehow identified or recognized as being part of Fox News, who could blame the group?

Fox Business describes this show by saying, “Deirdre Bolton takes you beyond stocks and bonds into the world of alternative investing. She brings viewers new ways to make money and better ways to keep it.” Once again, I didn't hear a thing on any of those subjects here.

Watch it below, from the February 17 Risk & Reward with Deirdre Bolton show.

“Every time Black people try to come together to fight”

Yeah, 5 black ghetto hoodrats beat up on a guy walking out the door from a McDonalds…..

Is this the Black Panther “fight” you are referring to?

Gotcha racist!

Who said I didn’t take issue with the Charleston tragedy? Did you read any posts from me back then? I didn’t think so. I wasn’t the one who typed Black Power on my FaceBook page, the idiot black guy did. Did you actually watch the video? Are you serious? Yeah, just because it’s against the “bad guys rules” to be out after a certain time, it makes since to beat the hell out of him. How do you know why he went there that late? Maybe he just got off work? So being black in that area, gives them full right to beat the crap out of white guys that don’t want to answer their stupid questions? You make ZERO sense my friend. When he gained consciousness, he got a ride with a taxi guy to his apartment, and the people there called the police, not him. He was too out of it. They immediately sent him to the hospital. Good try on making it a better BLACK thing than it really was, but they were nothing but ghetto trash looking for a white guy to beat on. You can’t make it sound any better dude, so go away…..you make no sense at all…..and I can’t reason with idiots…

Black power groups? That’s just a nutjob just like the folks in Oregon or the kid who shot up a church in Charleston. Funny, you don’t take issue with those events CB. Sorry, but that Marine’s story doesn’t sound believable on any level and the video doesn’t jibe with his description of events. Anytime a wannabe politician comes up with some cockamamy story, I’m inclined to doubt it. Since BLM isn’t some organized thing, I find it highly unlikely that his account of things was true. Anyone who sits in a corner of a McDonald’s at night alone is asking for trouble. He also went to his apartment to call police rather than do it right there. Fishy all around!

There is a GoFundMe page set up for the Decorated US Marine Bronze Star recipient, Chris Marquez, that was savagely beaten by 4-5 black racists and most of the details are listed on there. Also we have some of the sentiment from some of the black power groups, in one in particular, named Steven Michael Simpson, who stated and I quote, “I wish he would have died” on his FaceBook page, and people asked him who he was talking about and he stated, “That wannabe WHITE hero”. Go to the page and check it out yourself. There is a screen shot. This is what society is turning into…….sadly
