Fox & Friends Smear NBC’s Sandy Telethon As A Concert For Obama

Posted by Brian -5pc on November 04, 2012 · Flag

On Friday’s and Friends (11/2/12), Steve Doocy and Eric Bolling sank to new lows when they blasted the NBC telethon for Sandy victims as some kind of campaign for President Obama.

“Is this more political? Is this more, ‘Let’s get this thing on TV before the election to make President Obama look Presidential,' or is it more for to help out victims?” Bolling asked.

Doocy sneered, “It does look like they’re trying to squeeze things in. Keep in mind, you’ve got Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen, both supported the President of the United States, Barack Obama, and in fact, Mr. Springsteen, I believe, has been traveling with the President of the United States. Where are the conservative performers? There aren’t any on the list I saw.”

Bolling, suggesting that NBC should delay the telethon for political purposes, said, “…This just seems like a rush job because the election is going to be three days after that.” Maybe he should go explain his reasoning to Sandy victims.

Doocy sneered again, “Is it a hurricane benefit or is a concert for Obama?”

“ I don’t know,” Bolling said.

This is one of the most vile, disgraceful things ever said on Fox News. Bolling and Doocy should be ashamed of themselves.

@al in la: Exactly. That’s why it’s needless to claim one thing as “one of the most vile, disgraceful things ever said on Fox News”: if you just wait a few minutes, you’re sure to hear something more vile and disgraceful . . .

- What IS Fox doing for the storm victims? -

Don’t ya know, Sandy victims had it coming to ’em. Just like God wants rape victims to have babies.

It’s pathetically Unpatriotic to be against this fundraising concert. If these jerks can’t show a little support for victims of the storm they ought to leave the topic alone. Instead they just sound like evil nit pickers. Lucky for them their entire audience are also evil nit pickers. What IS Fox doing for the storm victims?

- Where was the Tea Party for Sandy? -

Where it always is, minding it’s own personal responsibility and thinking how disaster victims had it coming.

Dooshy: “Where are the conservative performers? There aren’t any on the list I saw.”

First, we’d have to find a conservative that cares about the victims and isn’t Chris Christie. Where was the Tea Party for Sandy? I don’t see them helping, and Fox News would have trumpeted it if I just missed it.

Also where were Conservatives that weren’t Christie? Other than taking the funds, then having to have their hand held through how to use it.

Even the Fox apolgists know this- the jokes about them are viral. it’s sad.

They’re all at Sean Hannity’s “Freedumb Concerts,” Steve.

Speaking of which, has Sean ever opened the books on the accounting proceeds from those concerts? Some people say they’re actually Concerts For Hannity . . .

Where are the conservative performers? Some say that Hank Williams Jr was still working on a pint of rot gut whiskey, and Clint Eastwood was arguing with a toilet seat.

Watch F&F, it’s the show where three screw-ups put their heads together and come up with another steaming hot pile of shit. Sometimes we invite ‘experts’ to help us cough up the turds!! Fun fer yer hole famly!

What a missed opportunity for the GOP to hold their own telethon with Mitt, Palin, Bachmann and Ryan hootin’ ‘n’ hollrin’ ‘bout how their very presence here on earth is proof that ’merica iz Great! When you examine the record that’s essentially what they’ve been doing all their political lives, and that is a great part of what attracts the cult of “personal responsibility” – it is narcissism tailed to the stupid.

Given what they expect on election day, they have lost their minds, became desperate, paranoid, and downright pathetic – even more so than the last four years. I met a lot of sour losers, but their sourness shows up only after the game is over. Two days are left, and Fox is already like this?

Headline:“President Obama personally finds a cure to eradicate all forms of cancer”.
Fox Alert: “President Obama puts oncologists out of work”.
Does it really matter what Fox(not the and, never was the) news says anymore?
“Some people say” that their audience is totally comprised of imbeciles.

I guess these two nitwits didn’t wait for the ailes memo on how to give credit to romney for the telethon.

Yes, it absolutely makes sense to have the victims wait patiently until Bolling (a complete fucking idiot) and Doocy (makes Bolling look like Einstein) feel that the benefit will not help Obama.
This attitude is perfectly inline with that of the Republican criminals, who put their agenda of denying President Obama a second term ahead of the suffering of the people of the nation.
By the way, were any Romney celebrity endorsees, ie. Meatloaf, Victoria Jackson, Hank Williams, Jr., part of the show? I think not. Who would want to watch any of them?
