Sarah Palin told Sean Hannity on his radio show yesterday that she's considering running against incumbent Senator Mark Begich (D-AK) and suddenly the media believes her. Just like they believed her phony tease about running for president. Fox News is also trumpeting this myth, even though Palin just un-quit the network less than a month ago and told the viewers that she's very busy writing a book that's "kind of a legalese how-to push back" on the War on Christmas.
As Britain's The Telegraph reported about Palin's comments:
I’ve considered it, because people have requested me considering it,” she told radio pundit Sean Hannity. “But I’m still waiting to see what the line-up will be and hoping that ... there will be some new blood, new energy, not just kind of picking from the same old politicians in the state.”
Despite playing down a potential run, she nonetheless added that she “would do whatever I could to help”.
But the "news" that Palin is "considering" a run is now the top story on Fox Nation. And while you'd think that Fox might be a bit annoyed that their newly re-minted pundit is suggesting she might quit (again) so soon after she returned to the fold - well, there isn't any sign of it. Nor is there any apparent concern that Palin might be using their airwaves to prime her candidacy (which, to be fair, is a common occurrence on Fox). So either Fox thinks it's been had over a pretend candidacy or Fox thinks it's been had over a pretend contributor. Or they don't care about either because grabbing eyeballs for Republican cheerleading trumps all.
Senate here I come! With options ta quit jest az soon az the goin’ gets tough!
No, nobody sane, anyway . . . but, that won’t stop her loyal supporters like Twatty/pRick {shouldn’t he have been here by now?} from contributing to her nonexistent campaign . . .
