Does this writer realize that the very rich pay very little in taxes….proportionate to their income? Taking advantage of write-offs and loopholes enables the wealthy to pay less than what the current tax code requires. With a flat tax ….whatever the rate….the write-offs and loopholes will disappear and the rich will then pay (as Obama says) “their fair share”.
