Forbes On Fox Host Doesn’t Want A Discouraging Word About Fossil Fuels
By Brian
On yesterday’s Forbes on Fox, the topic was, as the banner on the screen put it: Critics: GM Taking Taxpayer Funded "Green" Tech to China. Toward the end of the discussion, Professor Mark Tatge defended green technology by saying, "Fossil fuel, fossil fuel is dead, right? It's going to die in the next 20 years." That did not sit well with host David Asman.

Neil Cavuto Deliberately Pit Donald Trump Against Dick Cheney
By Brian and Ellen
Just as Bill O’Reilly did with Christine O’Donnell, Neil Cavuto set up Dick Cheney for criticism and pretended otherwise. Cavuto conducted a fairly softball interview with Cheney yesterday (9/13/11) and then followed it up with an interview with someone he knew would be critical – Donald Trump. It’s a neat trick Fox has of making sure a conservative guest gets skewered without getting the host’s hands dirty, so to speak. Or giving the guest an opportunity to respond.

Laura Ingraham Joins Fox “News” Veep Attack Machine With Panache
One of the Fox “News” memes this week was the almost non-stop drip, drip, drip over recent comments by Vice President Joe Biden, taken out of context. He said that China’s one child policy was “unsustainable.” Because he didn’t say it was Godless and Heathen, it’s been one of those “All Hands On Deck” Fox “News” attacks on the Veep that even extends to secondary Fox “News” personalities like Laura Ingraham. Whenever a segment ends, like this one does, with Steve Doocy saying, “It’s a story that they’re not talking about on the mainstream media,” you know it’s a story about somebody dissing one of God’s Many Commandments as interpreted by Fox “News.” THOU SHALT NOT HAVE ABORTIONS OR BIRTH CONTROL UNLESS YOU ARE RICH. And, you’ve got to admire how guest Laura managed to work in attacks on Biden’s Roman Catholic religion, Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, creeping eugenics in ‘Merka, President Obama’s standing in the religious Latino community, and more. All in a in a 3 and a half minute tour de force of Ingraham playing her version of Six Degrees of Beelzebub. Watch:

Fox Nation Patriot Wishes The Chinese Had Stomped The Black Georgetown Basketball Players “To Death”
Fox Nation claims to be a community of patriots “committed to the core principles of tolerance (and) civil discourse.” But as we’ve proven repeatedly – when we pointed out how readers want President Obama assassinated and the racist glee over the Williams’ sisters loss at Wimbledon, e.g. – the site has proven to be anything but. The latest example of “love” for country and “tolerance” is the shocking bigotry shown and hatred toward the American basketball team from Georgetown University. In the comments linked to a post about the brawl that broke out between Georgetown and a Chinese basketball team, at least one Fox Nation reader wished the Chinese had stomped the Americans to death. Why? As one “patriot” asked, "WOULDN'T IT BE NICE if BLK people really believed they are AMERICANS FIRST???" As another put it, “The majority of blacks are rude, overbearing and evil no matter where they go in the world.”

Fox News’ Trump-A-Palooza
OK, I get why Fox News was agog over Donald Trump and the birther thing. It was a perfect way to outsource a dog whistle to their extremist base and it ties so well into their "he’s not a true patriot” meme. But I don’t get why Fox has suddenly fallen hook, line and sinker for Trump as if he’s the Great White Hope for 2012. They must have some internal polling that indicates he’s going over well but surely the suits at Fox have eyes that can see some glaring problems – and I’m not talking about his hair.
