Bobby Knight: A Vote For Trump Is Like A Vote For George Washington

According to famed basketball coach Bobby Knight, Donald Trump’s greatness is right up there with George Washington and our founding fathers.

Fox & Friends hosted Knight and Trump Friday with the obvious purpose of helping Trump in the very important primary state of Indiana, which votes on Tuesday.

But Knight went beyond over the top with his praise for Trump.

KNIGHT: This man knows what to do. This man knows how to get America back on track. […]This man is on top of everything. You know, and as I said, I don’t think there’s ever been a better-prepared man to enter the White House than this man.

[…] Plus the fact that Mr. Trump has a tremendous following and a tremendous respect worldwide. This isn’t just a man who’s respected in Indiana or California or Florida or the United States. Donald Trump has done an awful lot of things for people all over the world.

Again I say, Indiana, you can, in this week, you can make a decision that will be something that will go right along with our founding fathers and George Washington. What you do here with Donald Trump.

Bobby Knight may have been a great basketball coach but he’s no champion in the world of public affairs.

Watch it below, from the April 29 Fox & Friends.

The crowd is lining up at the coliseum. His buddy Bobby with him. Funny thing is they have a list of all kinds of things you can’t take in. Bill Clinton was here yesterday, no special requirements for his rally. They aren’t going to have the protesters like California cuz this town has no passion at all. My son is seeing Bernie at the college tomorrow. After all this crap for someone to get 57 delegates, Indiana, the lost red state with no scruples will be forgotten.

Serious or seriously constipated??!

Some fig newtons would probably work wonders for the Donald.

But Trump has his ‘serious’ face on, so this must mean he’s serious.

The Grate Bobbie was just a bit confused because he couldn’t find a chair to throw on the court - he actually meant the great Mexican basketball player Jorge Washington.

“I don’t think there’s ever been a better-prepared man to enter the White House than this man.”

‘Cause, there’s no better preparation for the White House than being a 4x bankrupt reality TV performer who’s never held elective office . . .

“Mr. Trump has a tremendous following and a tremendous respect worldwide.”

Sure he does, Bob — that’s why Mexico, D.F. passed a proposal to ban Drumpf, and the UK Parliament debated a proposal to do the same . . .

Go home, Bob — you’re drunk.

Long Dong Donald has a lot of GOPiggy Presidential traits: corruption of Warren Harding, paranoia of Richard Nixon, intellectual shallowness of Ronnie Raygun and the pure dumbness of George W. Bush.

“Harry Truman, with what he did in dropping and having the guts to drop the bomb in 1944, saved, saved millions of American lives,” the former Indiana University coach added. “And that’s what Harry Truman did and he became one of the three great presidents of the United States. And here’s a man who would do the same thing because he’s going to become one of the four great presidents of the United States.” Quote from one demented guy about another. Something’s wrong with Bobby Knight.

These two go together so well. If only the late Woody Hayes were still around to lend his support to The Donald.

Trump? Narcissist, heavily branded Trump is a lot like George Washington too. You know, the humble Washington who refused to be crowned king. Oh, maybe not. Never mind. ;^)

Bobby Knight is a lot like George Washington. If George routinely beat generals Nathaniel Greene, Daniel Morgan, and Alexander Hamilton.

Or if George ratted out brother Augustine Washington, Jr. for cutting down the cherry tree.

Yeah, like that. ;^)

Ever been a better prepared man???!!

Donald J Trump is even less prepared than George W Bush was.

Mr. Knight may be good at sports, but he’s not very strong on international affairs. When he declared that “… Mr. Trump has a tremendous following and a tremendous respect worldwide”, he simply demonstrated how ignorant he was on that front.

A recent poll of the G-20 countries (aka, the 20 wealthiest countries of the world) found that only Putin’s Russia had a positive view of Trump. The 19 other countries are worried or extremely worried about the sort of America that Trump describes, i.e. a country that thinks it can lay down the law for the rest of the world.

PS1: Saw a great slogan on a sign at the latest anti-Trump protest: “Make America Hate Again” is truly the best nutshell for Trump’s message to the country and the world.

PS2: Only 17 arrests at the first protest? That tells me that the vast majority of those present were there to holler not to attract the photographers. Can’t help wondering if they weren’t being paid to misbehave. After all, that’s a lot cheaper than paying for TV ads.
