Bill O’Reilly Blames President Obama And The Media For Republican Embrace Of Donald Trump’s Bigotry

Bill O’Reilly argued with a straight face that if only President Obama and the "liberal" media hated immigrants more, Donald Trump wouldn’t have to.

O’Reilly did his part for Fox’s ongoing Trump Muslim-comments damage control by echoing Fox & Friends’ clever deflection strategy: blame President Obama! Only with a little extra O'Reilly-generated bigotry.

In the rest of the world, Trump’s comments have been so widely condemned that even Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke out against them.

So O’Reilly wasted little time blaming Obama. After noting Trump’s climbing poll numbers (from before his "bar the Muslims from entering the US" remarks), O’Reilly said this:

O’REILLY: There’s no question Trump could win the nomination and this Christmas he should send Barack Obama a very nice gift for making that possible — maybe some golf clubs. He should also send cards to many members of the liberal media because it is the Obama media one-two punch that has propelled Donald Trump to the top of the Republican field.

That’s right, the Republicans who embrace Trump’s fascist bigotry have no personal responsibility, at least none that O’Reilly wants to talk about.

O’REILLY: First the president: there’s no question many Americans, perhaps most, are angry with Mr. Obama. He simply will not fight the war on terror in an effective way and many folks feel unsafe. Also he continues to allow people to illegally enter America with impunity.

O’Reilly took a little detour to plug his anti-immigrant Kate’s Law as part of the reason it’s Obama’s fault Trump “needs” to be so bigoted:

O’REILLY: I can’t believe the President will not support Kate’s Law and millions of Americans feel the way I do. Mr. Obama does not seem to care about justice or public safety.

It’s not just about hating foreigners enough, though. It’s also President Obama’s fault that the economy isn’t better (as if Fox wouldn’t be raving about how much improved it is since Obama took office had a Republican been saddled with the Great Recession).

O’REILLY: Then we have economic insecurity because of the soft economy. You add it all up and there is a fury in America.

And if only the "liberal" media were bigoted enough and hated Obama enough...

O’REILLY: On the media front, they largely support Obama’s administration. I mean it’s a joke seeing the media demonize Trump while the same people who do that support porous borders and a very soft policy toward the jihadist killers. So the media pundits have lost a huge amount of credibility. And the more they attack Trump, the more popular he gets.

O’Reilly concluded by noting that the Republican establishment “does not believe [Trump] can defeat Hillary Clinton and, therefore, doesn’t want him as a standard bearer.”

So what’s the top-rated pundit on Fox to do when there’s such a split in their own party faithful? Why, go with the thing they can all agree on – and make excuses for the ugliness that is Trump’s stock in trade:

O'REILLY: However, Mr. Trump has millions of Americans on his side as the polls demonstrate. Again, he can thank Barack Obama and the left-wing media largely for that.

Watch it below, from the December 10 The O’Reilly Factor.

Informed people, huh Angel?
Here’s some information Angel, you posted on the wrong column.. The one about Colbert’s ratings is one or two back.

Good luck. Try not to hurt yourself.

Gloating? Try pointing out the obvious! Colbert turned late night into A Crappy version of his Comedy Central Garbage. You can’t seriously try to Spin TRUE Garbage ratings! Just suck it up and fix the issue. Colbert is a 3rd rate comedian, If it wasn’t for John Stewart he wouldn’t even be a pimple on Bills butt. there were plenty of people more qualified for the job but CBS went Political ad now they are going to see where it gets em, in the ratings Toilet! So don’t blame O’REILLY for simply pointing out the truth— no Spin ! He wasn’t #1 for 10 years by accident! Plenty of “informed” people watch him.

This has to be the Tweet of the Day. From The Daily Edge who points out Christian domestic terrorists are still getting unencrypted messages from their mothership:

Hilarious yet not funny at all at the same time. ;^(

Interesting!

Right-wing of the most right-wing shows on fair and balanced propaganda factory GOPTV™ is “Fox & Friends.” “Fox & Friends” generally is GOP media mogul Roger Ailes’ kick-off show for setting the conservative memes of the day. So what’s their spin this morning on Trump – destined to be parroted by the rest of the critical thinking propaganda robots on GOPTV™?

Only 47% of Americans are upset over Trump’s bigotry they claim which is sending the best thrill up the curvy couch bobble-heads’ legs they’ve had in the longest time.

Though ironically – without the curvy couch bobble-heads bothering to expand upon this contradiction – they say The Donald is clearly unelectable in the general election. Really? You clowns built him up into the master of some “yuuuuuge” (to quote Trump) American silent majority of Archie Bunkers who share your pro-Christian, anti-Muslim team sport bigotries. Just as I’d expect from freedom-loving, Constitution-hugging Republicans. So why won’t he easily roll over Hillary or Bernie?

I know people think I’ve been exaggerating. But despite some Republican establishment shock and pushback against Trump’s latest spew in his campaign of serial bigotry, it appears to me his demagoguery is persuading the black hearts and tiny minds of conservative America. “Fox & Friends” even pointed out Ted Cruz is slobbering over Trump fearful of cheesing off the Trump Bigot Brigade™. How much more will it take for GOPTV™ to start thumping their chests to shut down all mosques, start the great round-up, and deport those you can deport and intern the rest? So sad extra-Constitutional GITMO is so tiny because it can’t fit them all!

Maybe I should shut up lest the Trump Bigot Brigade™ rounds up a ‘pro-Muslim liberal’ like me. Can’t trust us lib commie types either since GOPTV™ claims we hate America too, eh?" Since we know, in addition to the Jews, Hitler rounded up the Socialists and Communists too. ;^)

I wonder if he will be as quick to blame Trump for the fire bombings of a mosque yesterday in Palm Springs for fanning the flames of against Muslims? And while at it TAKE A BOW FOR FOX HELPING AS WELL?

“And the more they attack Trump, the more popular he gets.”
Well if the five star general in the War on Christmas says it, it must be true.
Trump must be busting his buttons that General Heezaliar is vouching for his popularity.

As popular as a turd in the punchbowl.

Now now, BillO — simply because Donald T. Rump wishes to go through life as a racist, xenophobic a-hole, does NOT mean President Obama is obligated to do the same . . .

Personal responsibility for your words and actions is strictly for Democrats. For the GOPiggies, any personal shortcomings are always Obama’s fault. So sayeth Bildo.

Bill O’Reilly is so full of bulls—t his eyes are brown!

This is a classic example of a terrified electorate willingly suspending freedoms if it makes them feel safer. We saw the same thing post 9/11 when sheeple couldn’t give up their freedoms quickly enough while politicians drafted the Patriot Act.

Fox News fear-mongering is in large measure responsible for creating a national panic. It empowers a know-nothing demagogue like Trump to exploit these fears and the ugly bigotry his sort of bile exposes.

My fear isn’t America is going to be destroyed by an ISIS Apocalypse. My fear is Fox News creation The Donald is one step away from herding up all Muslims for deportation or (as incredible as it might sound) internment. For now even Republicans are pushing back against Trump’s latest ban on Muslim immigration. However, there is so much cowardly bed wetting going on I’m not sure another domestic or European terrorist attack won’t send them over the edge.

When I witness gutless cowards like O’Reilly and Trump and their millions of sheeple fans falling apart over domestic terrorism which trails slipping on banana peels as a threat to Americans I begin to lose faith.

No Bill. You and your buddies at FOX are directly responsible for Trump, for the racist bigotry that is so pervasive in America today. It used to be somewhat under wraps, but you and your network have brought it out into the open.

It is not the Presidents fault that you’re a bunch of racist assholes.

Total dip-stick ~ total chicken sh*t [lest we forget Vietnam] ~ total bottom of the barrel. But….the great wizard of Fox is the ONLY one who has ALL the answers & ALWAYS knows what’s best for America. Can’t ‘ya just see it now ~ 4 years of the Clintons back @ 1600 PA Ave ~ [better than a new “Trump House” @ that address] & the Fox idiots will truly go berserk. Couldn’t happen to a “nicer” bunch of idiots!
