Geraldo Thinks OâReilly An âOld Fogeyâ For His Occupy Wall Street Vitriol
Bill OâReilly and Geraldo Rivera had one of their epic debates tonight, this time over Occupy Wall Street. As Iâve previously noted, Rivera has done some decent reporting on the movement, despite facing some not-so-friendly crowds at New York's Zuccotti Park. OâReilly, on the other hand, has been consistently vitriolic toward the protests. In this debate, when OâReilly complained that the entire movement had been âhijackedâ by nuts and extremists, Rivera said, âYou know what sticks in my mind? The phrase âOld Fogey,â because what you just said was used time and time again against the anti-Viet Nam war protesters.â

Leave it to Ann Coulter to come up with the same kind of keen insight about the breaking Herman Cain sexual harassment scandal that she brings to her decisions about where to vote. âThereâs nothing liberals fear more than a black conservative,â she asserted on Geraldo At Large last night. âThis is an outrageous attack on a black conservative who is doing extremely well and I think will be our vice presidential candidate.â Later, when Juan Williams challenged her assertion, she said, âRight-wingers never bring up personal attacks like this.â

Geraldo To Cain Spokesman: We Like You But Your Refusal To Confirm Or Deny Sexual Harassment Allegations Is âA Recipe For Disasterâ
The Geraldo At Large show had barely gotten going tonight when a Fox News alert interrupted with the bombshell that Politico is reporting that âat least twoâ of Cainâs former female employees complained about âsexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable.â These women also received what looks an awful lot like hush money when they left their employment and agreed not to discuss their departures. Geraldo Rivera got Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon on the phone and asked if the allegations were true. Gordon refused to give a straight answer. Rivera tried to make it clear Gordon was among friends on Fox but he grew increasingly impatient with the double talk.
