Andrea Tantaros Thinks The U.S. Is A ‘Lawless’ ‘Banana Republic.’ Where’s Her Belief In American Exceptionalism?

Fox host Andrea Tantaros thinks Hillary Clinton should be in jail already but Tantaros is probably the real lawbreaker.

On Outnumbered, the cohosts suggested that Hillary Clinton’s sentencing is just a matter of formality.

Cohost Melissa Francis, not an attorney, announced, “It seems like something has to come of this, it’s just what is the timing of it.”

The show’s #OneLuckyGuy, Arthur Aidala, was also its one lawyer. But he had a different, less partisan view. He said, “The real issue is, what is the harm?” He said Clinton’s server could have been hacked “but was it? And if it was, what were the damages?” Aidala explained, “There needs to be the damage. So what we haven’t heard yet is, what was the damage? What happened because of this? And then you can come down with this sentence.”

Cohost Sandra Smith, also not an attorney, dismissed that. “It’s an interesting perspective,” she said. “because, Harris, I would just think putting our national security at risk –“

“Would be enough,” cohost Harris Faulkner interrupted. Did you guess that Faulkner is not an attorney either?

Aidala added that intent is usually relevant when determining if a crime has been committed.

So Andrea Tantaros jumped in to overrule Aidala with a conviction of Clinton and, while she was at it, President Obama, too. Need I mention that Tantaros is not an attorney, either? But Fox News doesn’t need no stinkin’ law nor facts to declare any Democrat guilty:

TANTAROS: She has done 20 times what General Petraeus did, and they prosecuted him. We are now in a banana republic. That means a lawless country where the president is able to dole out prosecutions as he feels. Dinesh D’Souza writes a book critical of the regime, he goes to jail; Petraeus is critical of Iraq and says that Benghazi was a terror attack, he somehow gets dinged for this and prosecuted for the same thing. But Hillary’s was far worse, and no prosecution? I’m sorry, she knew the law, the White House knew the law, the national security team knew the law, and President Obama said on 60 Minutes he did not believe that she was hacked...

FAULKNER: He said I don’t think so.

TANTAROS: And today the AP says maybe, and we already know there’s a report that said that her emails were up for sale, so she was hacked, and the government didn’t purchase them.

In the first place, Tantaros’ comparisons to D’Souza and Petraeus are bogus. D’Souza’s crime had nothing to do with national security or Hillary Clinton. He pleaded guilty to violating campaign finance laws and never went to jail, despite Tantaros' assertion to the contrary.

Petraeus, unlike Clinton, knowingly and intentionally shared classified information with an unauthorized person – in this case with his mistress.

One would have hoped that since Aidala had just made that distinction without naming names, at least one of the four cohosts would have challenged Tantaros’ false claim, especially since it included outrageous, over-the-top rhetoric. But nobody did, not even Aidala.

Almost as bad as Tantaros’ inflammatory rhetoric is her own reckless disregard for the law when it suits her political purpose. She may want to forget – but we have no intention of letting her – that in 2013, she asked her radio show listeners to “do me a favor” and punch an Obama supporter “in the face.” That sounds a lot like incitement of violence.

Finally, Tantaros' latest incendiary attacks on the U.S. reveal that her supposedly deep faith in American exceptionalism - you know, the one she attacked President Obama for not believing enough - seems to be about as sincere as her belief in the rule of law.

Watch “Punch” Tantaros’ hideous hypocrisy below, from the October 13 Outnumbered.

Andrea sat there during one of their roundtable talks and said on air that She’s A Nationalists and Gregg quickly said that he was also.
With the constant negative coverage of the black population at the time I was suspect if these host held those views of hatred.
They sat there and confirmed it.
This was when she was making constant guest spots about two years or less back.
The hate talk of bill and the other shows.
No matter the main theme of that show they find room for hate.

@ scooter Which leads to this question I have: I wonder if, by chance, Andrea "Punch” Tantaros FLUNKED PHYSICS in high school?

This was not scripted stupidity!
This was the “real” thing.
I continue to wonder if she has a 6" secret up her dress which keeps her in a total state of spin all the time.

Tantarosaurus always makes me angry. Here’s hoping she someday receives the type of bar-room justice she wishes upon everybody who doesn’t think like her. What goes around comes around Andrea.

Fox's Andrea Tantaros at her most hideously dishonest and hypocritical.
