Romney Embraces Tax Penalties To Enforce Individual Mandate - On Fox News!
Here's a Fox News archive you're not likely to see on Fox this election season. A clip of Mitt Romney advocating for using tax penalties to enforce the individual mandate in Massachusetts.

Today's Bulls and Bears used job creation (or lack thereof) as an excuse to bash the Affordable Care Act. Host Brenda Buttner asked, “Did the Supreme Court’s ruling just slam the gavel on any chance for a jobs recovery?” In case you didn’t already know the answer, a giant gavel appeared on the screen and loudly smacked the b-roll footage that showed workers on the job. Unfortunately for the panel, liberal Julian Epstein confronted them with facts they couldn’t refute.

It has now been 1165 days or 3 years, two months and 8 days since Sean Hannity said he'd undergo waterboarding to prove it's not torture - and do it to raise money for charity. Time to man up, Sean, to borrow one of you favorite phrases. Either do it or explain why you haven't!

Geraldo Rivera got into an entertaining argument with Laura Ingraham tonight over Darrell Issa’s witch hunt against Eric Holder. Rivera rightly summed up the contempt vote as “political hackery” that will now be dropped. But the discussion grew so heated that when Ingraham tried to poke holes in Rivera’s argument by suggesting he was being inconsistent, he began shouting at her, “Stop it! You are dissembling!”

In case you didn't know, Fox News has a new magazine called - wait for it - Fox News Magazine. But it's a surprisingly bland affair with such articles as 7 Decorating Tips When You're Moving in Together and 10 Sexy Summer Sunglasses. I couldn't find the name "Obama" or "Romney" anywhere on the home page. DAME took one look at the site and decided that Fox has missed an opportunity. They came up with their own suggested list of articles, including parody covers. For your summer comic enjoyment.

On the June 27, 2012 Your World, hatemonger Mark Levin talked about a variety of topics - from the Supreme Court's health care decision the next day to his thoughts on Mitt Romney to an orange juice can. Yes, an orange juice can. Host Neil Cavuto’s sucking up to Levin was just as extraordinary.
Read moreSarah Palin Lectures President Obama On The Constitutionality Of Health Care Reform
Less than 10 days after Fox News presented Sarah Palin to attack President Obama's understanding of the 10th Amendment with regard to immigration policy, she was back on the “fair and balanced” network to lecture him about it with regard to health care reform. While she was at it, she offered her insights into economics and taxes, too. And host Greta Van Susteren – who really is a lawyer – helped further the pretense that Palin was a legitimate expert every step of the way.
Read moreWhere’s Bill O’Reilly’s Apology For Being An Idiot Over Health Care Reform?
On March 26th, Bill O’Reilly promised on national television that if the individual mandate was ruled Constitutional, he would not only apologize for his zeal in attacking it, but also admit to being an idiot. Well, as Ellen wrote in a post about that segment, O’Reilly’s promise was duly noted and she made her own promise to hold him to it. Yet in a lengthy discussion about the ruling on The O’Reilly Factor tonight, Bill made no apology, much less admitted to being an idiot.
Read moreFox Pundit Argues That Supreme Court Health Care Ruling Is A Victory For Mitt Romney
Fox News Chris Stirewalt, politics editor for digital Fox News, is presumably part of Fox' "objective" team. But when he appeared on America Live, at about 2:00 PM today (as part of Fox's "objective news" lineup), he nearly twisted himself into a pretzel as he argued – with a straight face – that the Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of President Obama’s health care reform was really a big plus for Mitt Romney. "I’m sure, from a cynical political perspective, they’d much rather would have had this issue go away and the Supreme Court take it down so the president could go rally the troops. Instead, it’s Romney’s troops who are rallied,” Stirewalt said. The spin was so furious, I don’t know how he and host Megyn Kelly didn’t fall over from dizziness. I know I nearly did.
