Sarah Palin Complains About Campaign “Negativity”
Poor Sarah Palin. Now that Florida voters resoundingly ignored her recommendation to vote for Newt Gingrich and “annoy a liberal,” she has suddenly become very concerned that negative campaigning is “hurting the electorate.” This from the woman who as recently as last summer suggested President Obama is a traitor who “wouldn’t have a problem” palling around with domestic terrorists. I guess she had to come up with some explanation for her lack of impact.

Whether they're delusional or just plain lying, the Fox & Friends curvy couch crewe actually maintains that their "opinion" show presents all sides of the issue. This comment elicits howls of derisive laughter when one examines their one sided coverage of culture war issues such as alleged librul indoctrination in schools and textbooks. The lie that Fox & Friends is "fair & balanced" has recently been underscored in its ongoing one sided promotion of the official position of the US Council of Catholic Bishops regarding their objection to the requirement that their large institutions cover the cost of birth control for employees. So far, in a blatant attempt to convince Catholics that Obama is dissing Catholics, Fox & Friends has run seven one sided segments, including two in which a Catholic bishop promoted his talking points without any rebuttal. This morning's piece was the 7th in the Fox & Friends pimpfest for the Catholic men in black.

Allen West has received quite a bit of criticism for having said, over the weekend, that President Obama and other Democrats should “get the hell out of the United States of America.” Not much criticism on Fox, of course. Since then, West has backtracked on his comments, claiming he “did not refer to any person leaving.” Even Sean Hannity didn’t seem to buy that baloney - though that didn't stop him from playing a deceptively edited clip to make it seem more plausbile. Instead, he justified the repulsive comments as part of his professional-conservative-victim shtick
Read moreGreta Van Susteren Covers Up For Boehner Calling Obama “Un-American” And Ignores West’s Hateful Rhetoric
Greta Van Susteren ignored Rep. Allen West’s hideous comments over the weekend – in which he suggested President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Debbie Wasserman Schultz should “get the hell out of the United States of America.” West is a regular guest on her show, On The Record, but there was no mention of his shocking remarks either by her or on either of the two prime time shows preceding her, The O’Reilly Factor or Hannity. Instead, Van Susteren purported to discuss comments by House Speaker John Boehner who, she announced, called President Obama’s economic message ‘Un-American.’” The guest for the segment was Democratic Congressman Xavier Becerra. But instead of discussing Boehner, Van Susteren spent the entire segment putting Becerra in the hot seat.

Fox "friend," Gretchen Carlson, is an uber Christian warrior princess who is constantly outraged about how the forces of evil, secular darkness are trying to make life miserable for Christians. Gretch is in a constant state of righteous Christian indignation about the outrageous atheistic forces of "political correctness" that are trying to take Christ out of Christmas, crosses out of cemeteries, bible verses off of army gun sights, and prayer out of places where the Supreme Court says it shouldn't be. Yet, the former Miss America and decorated Christian soldier seems to have a problem with Sikhs whom she suggests are oversensitive about their religion. Oh, the irony! Oh, the hypocrisy!
Read moreHannity Wants To Make Sure Romney And Gingrich Attack Obama About Bill Ayers And Rev. Wright (Think Racial Attacks)
Sean Hannity is worried that Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich won’t smear President Obama enough. Hannity suggested to each of the Republican candidates last night that they should make sure to bring up President Obama’s “past” and named Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright as examples. But you can bet your "fair and balanced" that what Hannity was fishing for were racially-tinged characterizations of Obama as a black, America-hating radical.

I no sooner finished posting “Eric Bolling’s Hypocrisy Knows No Bounds” when I learned that Rep. Allen West would be appearing on the curvy couch with the curvaceous Fox and Friends. Because nothing gets ratings more than a controversy, and because Bob Beckel is a regular punching bag on The Five, right off the mark the Foxy Friends played some of Beckel’s comments and asked Rep. West to respond. West demanded an apology from Beckel for not calling him “Representative.” If Beckel apologizes to West, will Bolling apologize for calling the President of the United States of America “Barry”? Stay tuned.

You’ve got to give it to Eric Bolling, he of the “Do as I say, not as I do” School of Fox “News” “Journalism.” It takes massive cajones to criticize Bob Beckel for doing something he does himself on a regular basis, and does worse. Furthermore, Bob Beckel was so lost in his righteous anger over Rep. Allen West’s recent comments (described by Ellen here, here and here), that he either didn’t catch Bolling in the hypocrisy, or just didn’t care to, even though it’s something he criticized Bolling for in the past.

Newt Gingrich’s fortunes may be on the slide, but at least some people at Fox News are giving him an opportunity to try and recoup them.
Read moreFrank Luntz Runs Interference For Allen West’s divisive rhetoric
Frank Luntz did a Fox News special yesterday that purported to be a “Florida Primary Preview” but was more like a Republican candidate jamboree. After bringing on the presidential candidates, Luntz trotted out Rep. Allen West who just so happens to be up for re-election in what Luntz suggested would be a tough campaign. I’ll assume that the show was recorded before West made his hideous comments the night before saying that President Obama and other Democrats should “get the hell out of the United States of America.” But West already had a history of unhinged attacks on Democrats. When one of Luntz’ audience members confronted West on it, Luntz jumped in to maneuver the conversation so as to make West look good.
