Brad Stine Talks Ice Cream, Gets Brain Freeze, Blames Liberals
Is there anything ex-carny, Christian comedian Brad Stine can not blame on those evil libruls who are trying to tear down the country? So far it seems not. Every Monday Fox and Friends finds some obscure story for Stine to run roughshod over and turn into the burning political issue of the day. There is no better example of this than this week’s Weekly Stine™ on Fox “News,” where he turned a playground spat over ice cream vendors that began on a blog and elevated into news by the New York Post, into a Liberal failure and undeniable proof of why Conservatives make better parents for a national so-called "news" network morning show. No, really!

Fox News' Heather Childers - co-anchor of Fox & Friends First and a news anchor on America's News HQ - was just curious, she says, as she asked yesterday for her Tweeps' "thoughts" on the following question: Did Obama Campaign Threaten Chelsea Clinton's Life 2 Keep Parents Silent? Childers got her "curiosity" from a post on the right-wing birther site, GodfatherPolitics.com, which raised the same question. UPDATED. (H/T John K.)
Steve Doocy Plays Perfunctory Atheist Card In Discussing Vanderbilt Non-Discrimination Policy
As protector of persecuted Christians, Roger Ailes does seem to be quite concerned about the non-discrimination policy at Vanderbilt U.There have been at least seven segments on Fox & Friends, all of which were in support of the Christian groups who object to the policy (described as "slimey" by Foxpriest Jonathan Morris) and none of which addressed the fact that the policy was clarified as a result of a gay student having been asked to leave a Christian fraternity because homosexuality, in their belief system, is immoral. Also missing from the Fox "coverage" was mention of a SCOTUS decision which affirmed that educational institutions are not obligated to recognize organizations that do not allow all students to join. The Vanderbilt policy was clarified to require that "all registered student organizations to allow any student to eligible for membership and leadership." As such, the Vanderbilt Catholic group will not be registering as a student group because of its "faith based qualifications for leadership." Naturally, their next step was to go on Fox & Friends where good Catholic Steve Doocy articulated the main talking point for all the Fox & Friends anti-Vanderbilt segments; i.e. that the policy could result in evil atheists taking leadership positions. Oh, nooooo......

On today’s Your World, meteorologist Janice Dean gave a report on the two tornadoes in the Dallas, Texas area as well as tornado watches elsewhere in Texas and other states. After she noted that such storm activity is a rarity, Cavuto asked her the cause.
Read moreIs Anyone On Fox News In A Position To Complain About Irresponsible Media Behavior In The Trayvon Martin Case?
You can barely turn on Fox News lately without hearing a pundit or a host complaining about a “rush to judgment” or “irresponsible” reporting. Yet, Fox is throwing stones from the very thin walls of its own glass house. This is the network that promoted Donald Trump’s birtherism in a big way and continues to promote Trump as a credible pundit even after he was proved spectacularly wrong. It’s hard to think of anything more irresponsible for a news network than promoting a phony claim that our president is not American-born and not legally qualified to serve. But Trump is far from the only irresponsible pundit treated seriously on Fox News.
Read moreFox News Ignores Wisconsin Planned Parenthood Firebombing?
On Sunday, an explosive device was detonated on a window sill of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Wisconsin. The damage appears to be minimal; but the FBI is investigating what could and should be classified as domestic terrorism. While MSNBC and CNN have posted articles, so far, Fox News doesn't seem to think that this is newsworthy. One assumes that if a CrisisPregnancyCenter (place where women are dissuaded from having abortions) or the Priests for Life headquarters were firebombed, it would be a daylong lede on the Fox News website and Fox Nation. Those posting comments would blame atheists, Muslims and any other group deemed anathema. But so far, Fox News has bupkis. Go figure. Maybe it's a good thing. If they did report it, the comments would probably be supportive of the bomber. Anyway...
Huckabee Suggests A Holocaust Could Result If Christians Don’t Vote
Mike Huckabee did his part to get out the Christian conservative vote this November – by suggesting there could be another Holocaust if they don’t. He was ably assisted in that effort by Andy Andrews, author of the book, How Do You Kill 11 Million People?

To finish Your World on Thursday (3/29/12), Neil Cavuto ripped President Obama for PetroChina surpassing ExxonMobil as the worlds biggest publicly traded oil producer. Not only did Neil Cavuto suggest that it’s President Obama’s fault, he further suggested Obama is a bigger enemy to our country than China.
Read moreSteve Doocy's Criteria For College Selection - Good Friday Holiday!
Fox News does seem to have a penchant for taking local issues and taking them national. Such was the case with a decision, by Stony Brook University, to no longer cancel classes on Christian and Jewish holidays. The new policy has been met with opposition by both students and faculties at the school. Not surprisingly, Fox media jumped on the issue with two segments on Fox & Friends and three articles on Fox Nation - the backstory; a Fox & Friends video; and the third, part of a Rush Limbaugh transcript in which he talks about how this is an example of why the "silent majority is about to explode." (It's interesting that Fox Nation uses an old "thin" photo of their beloved Rush). The first Fox & Friends segment (Juliette Huddy takes Fox cleavage to a whole new level) introduced the topic and included commentary from the school's vice-provost and religious right winger Jordan Sekulow. The second was Steve Doocy's interview with a student who opposes the policy. It was noteworthy in that it posed the eternal question, is Steve Doocy an idiot or does he play one on TV?
Read moreTodd Starnes Alternate Universe
As Jon Stewart said, "conservative victimization is the true genius of what Fox News has accomplished." Topping the list of right wing victims are Christians who, despite their large numbers, are, according to Fox media, being persecuted on a daily basis - especially by evil, secular Hollywood. While Fox radio culture clubber Todd Starnes doesn't go as far as Catholic League president, Bill Donohue, who says that "Hollywood is controlled by Jews," Starnes does claim, in his Fox Nation article, that "It's no secret that Hollywood DESPISES CHRISTIANS."
