Greta Van Susteren makes a big show of saying that her interest in investigating the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 is all about the Americans who lost their lives there. But in an interview with Senator Lindsey Graham two nights ago, she focused like a laser beam on tarring President Obama. As for getting to the bottom of what caused the deaths of the four Americans? Not so much.

Fox & Friends is not the only Fox News venue smearing NBC's telethon to benefit Sandy victims. Fox Nation has gotten into the act, too. And while pointing the finger of bias at NBC, Fox somehow "forgot" about how, just a few days earlier, Mitt Romney canceled his Ohio political rally and, instead, threw an impromptu “hurricane relief rally,” at the same location, with the same people, during which he played a biographical film from the convention to, lets say help Hurricane Sandy’s victims.  

On Friday’s and Friends (11/2/12), Steve Doocy and Eric Bolling sank to new lows when they blasted the NBC telethon for Sandy victims as some kind of campaign for President Obama.

Although Friday's jobs report was generally considered good news for President Obama, on Fox News, it was portrayed as good news for Mitt Romney,

Not that long ago, there was no love lost between evangelicals and the Catholic Church. But underscoring how politics makes strange bedfellows (in this case, chaste and heterosexual), they are now united in their prayers for the defeat of Barack Obama, as articulated by Mark Smith, president of Ohio Christian University and the Ohio branch of the "Faith & Freedom Coalition" a group that, like Catholic bishop Daniel Jenky, has compared Obama to Hitler. This morning, Smith appeared on Fox & Friends where he was interviewed by Steve Doocy who, as a devout conservative Catholic, is part of Fox News' undying support for the Catholic Bishops' opposition to the Obama administration's birth control mandate. Doocy, along with fellow Fox propagandist and devout conservative Catholic Peter Johnson Jr., has done a *plethora of segments in which he validated the bishop's talking points. And clever fellow that he is, he was able to work in more validation this morning!

Geraldo Rivera visited The O’Reilly Factor last night for another heated discussion about attacking President over Benghazi. Rivera seems not only to have woken up to Fox’s presidential-election game on Benghazi but is speaking out against it as best he can, given that he’s an employee and seems to have real affection for Fox in other respects. But while Bill O’Reilly likes to make a big deal about how he’s “looking out for the folks” in a “no spin zone,” he interrupted and obstreperously blocked Rivera each time he opined in President Obama’s favor. 

Apparently, having a television "news" network that operates as the communications arm of the Republican Party is not enough for Rupert Murdoch. He issued his own direct orders to New Jersey's Republican Governor Chris Christie last night via Twitter.

Geraldo Rivera returned to Fox & Friends today where there was once again a heated argument about Fox’s politicization of the Benghazi tragedy. This time, Rivera let Eric Bolling have it when he said the White House, the CIA and the State Department “does nothing, sends no help.”

You can't watch Fox News for longer than a few minutes (if that long) without hearing their overheated reporting on Benghazi - a thinly-veiled partisan attempt to turn a tragedy at our American consulate in Libya into a national security Watergate, despite pleas from the likes of Condoleezza Rice. Well, surprise! Surprise! It turns out Fox's version of events, that the administration did nothing to help its ambassador and three other Americans as they came under siege is, in the words of Chrysler executive Ralph Gilles responding to Donald Trump's allegation that Jeep production is being shipped to China, "full of shit."

Sean Hannity’s phony-baloney Hanctimony couldn’t have been more obvious last night as he suggested President Obama was ignoring Sandy victims in order to campaign for re-election. But the one really ignoring the victims was Hannity. He didn’t do a single interview with a single reporter or official who could speak with authority on the status of the clean up, the victims or any other facts of a news story he supposedly found so important. Instead, he chose Rudy Giuliani for a session of partisan finger-pointing.
