Martha MacCallum Says Who Cares About Public School Church/State Issues When "We Have Bigger Fish To Fry"
The patented Fox News "persecuted Christian" meme is not just relegated to official Fox opinion. It also has crept into the official news programming at Fox where discussions of the "Ground Zero Cross" had Megyn Kelly, an alleged straight news anchor, mocking atheists and fellow straight news anchor and member of Ailes' God squad, Martha MacCallum totally freaking out about those nasty atheists - a group that seems to have moved higher than Muslims on the Fox News shit list. Much of the persecuted Christians vs. evil atheist material comes from Fox's culture clubber and male thong observer, Todd Starnes, who is always on the alert for affronts to good Christians by atheists and the gay agenda. Yesterday, Fox & Friends featured a Starnes story about how Christians are being harassed for blasting prayers, over the loudspeakers, at public school football games. Later, Fox "News" featured another story broken by Starnes; a complaint about churches providing meals to the public high school football players. MacCallum provided the requisite Fox News Christian cheerleading.

No, I’m sorry, there is no clever spin, no witty way to put this - Fox News actually outed the real name and location of a Navy SEAL Team Six member who participated in the killing of Osama Bin Laden. To make matters worse, the point of Fox’s article doing so is the supposed concern for national security information divulged by the publication of the SEAL’s pseudonymous book. The hypocrisy is so overwhelming that you'd better get a bucket.
Read moreLaura Ingraham's Far Out Claim: Romney's Mormonism Under Attack By Far Left & Mainstream Media
On Fox News, there are some certainties. Along with personal attacks and dubious "truthiness," Bill O'Reilly's "The Factor" includes a hefty diet of smears of the "far left" and the mainstream media which is accused of being biased. (Oh, the Irony!). Bill might be on vacay, but his sub, Laura Ingraham has no problems promoting the standard memes such as she did last night when she accused the far left and the mainstream media of attacking Mitt Romney's Mormonism. There is more irony in that Fox News has hosted a Texas pastor, Robert Jeffress, who once said that evangelicals won't vote for Romney because he is a Mormon cult member. Fox's Mike Huckabee suggested that Romney might believe that the devil and Jesus are brothers. But all that is behind us now that the right is united in its efforts to defeat the anti-Christ Obama. And part of that effort now includes charges that the "far left" is bigoted - a charge being made by the not so tolerant Laura Ingraham on a network that has no problems with a guest who says that Islam is a "radical, savage religion." On, the Irony?!

Mike Huckabee - who is speaking at the Republican Convention next week - has written a letter not just standing up for Rep. Todd Akin but slamming his fellow Republicans for trying to run him out of the Missouri Senate race. Priscilla noted that Huckabee bonded with Akin on the radio show a few days ago. This letter takes things to a whole new level.
Read more‘Objective’ Jim Angle’s Dishonest, Biased Report On The Romney/Ryan Medicare Plan
Is Fox News’ “objective” reporter Jim Angle on the Romney/Ryan payroll? If not, he should be. Because it’s hard to think how his report “questioning” whether Obama’s attacks on the Republican Medicare plan are accurate could be any more biased. During his “report,” Angle might as well have waved a “Vote Romney” banner and told us he can’t wait to use Ryan’s Medicare “premium support” plan.

There are some certainties in life. To quote a famous Fox savant, the tides go in; the tides go out. And whenever Fox News' "fundamentalist barking dog" and gay pride parade voyeur, Todd Starnes, posts an article, about persecuted Christian and evil atheists, it inevitably makes its way to Fox Nation and Fox & Friends - a show that never wastes an opportunity to showcase those persecuted Christians who bravely endure those evil, secular slings and arrows of outrageous atheists. This morning, Jesus' BFF's on the curvy couch brought us the newest, at least according to Starnes, outrage about how Jesus' enemies are trying to silence public prayer, at public school football games, in Jesus loving, homo hating Mississippi. As always, Jesus (who did have a problem with those who pray publicly) must be weeping! As always, while the segment was heavy on Jesus, it was light on facts which, I guess, makes Jesus happy? And given that Brian Kilmeade wants Christians to disobey the law, I guess Jesus is jumping for joy?!

How do we know that the Rep. Todd Akin debacle is going to be devastating for Mitt Romney? Dick Morris called it a “big plus for Romney” on the O’Reilly Factor last night. Kind of like Hurricane Katrina was going to be a “huge positive for Bush,” eh?

How desperate was Fox Nation for a new angle to attack President Obama? So desperate they pulled out his yearbook from Harvard Law School. Their great smoking gun? You may have to sit down to hear this… in 1991, he posted a quote calling for “mutual respect and tolerance.” Oh, the horror!
