Fox News Hypocrites Engage In Class Warfare Over Nancy Pelosi's "Pricey Hawaiian Hotel"
Remember how often Fox News has complained about the left engaging in class warfare against the rich? (But pay no attention to their attacks on President Obama for being too rich.) Now, Fox News is using the same class warfare card against the Democratic former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, for staying at a "pricey" Hawaiian hotel.

Even a photo of President Obama holding a baby is an occasion for those "America lovers" at Fox Nation to come up with a way to sneer at him. The photo of a baby sticking her fingers in President Obama's mouth, taken while he was visiting a military base on Christmas, is headlined, "President Obama Eats Baby Hand." (H/T Barbara S.)

“Republican strategist” Dee Dee Benkie took part in the Great American Panel segment on Hannity Monday night (12/26/11) where she spewed falsehoods about “rampant” voter fraud in this country and made unsubstantiated accusations about Democrats trying to steal elections. Although voter fraud has been shown to be very rare, guest host Mark Steyn accepted her comments without challenge. He did not even ask her to back up her outrageous claims that Democrats are deliberately trying to steal elections.

On Fox News Watch over the weekend (12/24/11), supposedly objective host Jon Scott glossed over the very disturbing racial content in a series of old Ron Paul newsletters. One such newsletter, for example, gave tips on how to get away with shooting and killing an African American “animal.” But Scott suggested that CNN’s aggressive questioning of Paul about the letters was little more than liberal media bias. During much of the discussion, a banner on the screen “asked,” Press Pounding Paul?
Read moreWhat Fox News Doesn't Tell You About Tim Tebow
In the endless coverage of how poor, persecuted Tim Tebow is mocked for his Christianity, the Fox News Tebow cultists seem to cite Tebow's post -touchdown bowing to Jesus as the main source of disrespect towards Jesus brother by another mother. They allude to Tebow's very Christian lifestyle which, they claim, librul haters hate. And it all seems so unfair to poor Tim. But what they don't tell their audiences is that Tebow, before every post game press conference says, "First and foremost, I'd like to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ." For those who feel that religion is personal, this smacks of pious ostentation at a time when all anyone wants to talk about is football. And speaking of that, Jesus must have been in a nog fog at his birthday party cuz his brother's team got totally smashed on Saturday! No more talk of Broncos "miracles" on Fox Nation this week.
Fox News Provides Pulpit For Catholic Cardinal Christmas Message & Other Stuff
Despite the diversity of American Christian churches, Fox "News" seems to ignore all but the Catholic Church which represents a quarter of all Christian groups. But wouldn't ya think that at Christmas, Fox would make an attempt at bringing in the sheaves of other churches. Now I don't mean anything like those gay, women clergy loving librul Protestant churches - but how bout some down home, bible thumping evangelicals or Southern Baptists whose views are constantly channeled by Fox and who, most likely, make up a good chunk of the Fox audience. Naw, not at Fox where the Catholic Church is the one, "true," God connection. NY Catholic's archbishop already provided a Christmas message on Fox & Friends. Yesterday, their supply side Jesus man, Fr. Jonathan Morris, made three appearances on Fox. And to put the icing on the cake or the cross at the top of the Fox steeple, official Fox "news" person, Chris Wallace, interviewed WashingtonDC's Cardinal Wuerl who provided more Catholic perspective and told us that Newt Gingrich is forgiven his past trespasses. Interesting...

On Fox News Watch yesterday, the discussion turned to a legal case over whether or not a particular blogger was entitled to the legal protections of journalists. After a report on the case, the panel weighed in. Fox News contributor Cal Thomas offered unintentionally and hilariously ironic standards for journalists that would immediately disqualify many if not most at Fox News!

Those Christmas-loving folks at FoxNews.com posted a parody of “The Night Before Christmas” poem called, Twas an Occupier Christmas. It’s one long sneer at the protesters plus others whom Fox News loves to hate, such as “libs” and Van Jones. But it also includes swipes at George Soros via Glenn Beck’s anti-Semitic dog whistle term, “The Puppet Master.” The post was written by Dan Gainor, who was recently seen on Fox Business blaming the Muppets as inciters of the Occupy protests (video after the jump). Gainor is also a Vice President at the Media Research Center whose president, Brent Bozell, complained last week that the so-called “liberal media” won’t let him opine that President Obama look like “a skinny, ghetto crackhead.” What’s not to like about these guys if you’re Fox News?
Read moreFox News Class Warfare Over Obama’s “Pricey” Hawaiian Christmas
Fox News never seems to tire of accusing the left of playing “class warfare” against the rich (and never mind Fox’s own war against the poor). But Fox quickly threw aside its cheerleading for the 1% now that there’s a chance to demonize Obama as too rich. Anyone remember how relentlessly Fox attacked President Obama’s "elite" Martha’s Vineyard vacation over the summer? Well, now it’s Obama’s “pricey” Hawaiian Christmas vacation.
Read moreSean Hannity Waterboard Watch – 976 Days And Counting
On the Hannity show’s special “Holiday” program last night, Hannity aired a moving profile of an American hero who had been profoundly wounded and permanently disabled in war. Ainsley Earhardt managed to present a straightforward account without the usual spin or distortion we have come to expect from her special reports on Hannity. At the end of the segment, Earhardt and Sean Hannity discussed how the wounded vets’ challenges made their own seem trivial by comparison. But not trivial enough for Hannity to meet the challenge he made for himself when he promised to undergo “dunking” – the word he used to describe waterboarding – for a charity to benefit the troops, as he promised on April 22, 2009, more than two years and eight months ago. Keith Olbermann even sweetened the pot by offering $1,000 to the families of U.S. troops for every second Hannity lasted.
