Newt Gingrich Lectures Us About What Makes A Marriage
Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich got more than 15 minutes of friendly air time on On The Record last night. Predictably, it was time spent attacking President Obama and insinuating that he’s more sympathetic to our Muslim enemies than to our Christian allies. But what really grabbed me was Gingrich’s insistence that “we may have to go to a federal amendment” to prevent gay marriage. Color me crazy but I just can’t get behind a serial adulterer like Gingrich trying to impose marriage morality on anyone else.

The hirsute and muy macho Brent Bozell, whose whining scolds (or scolding whines) are warmly received on Fox News, recently discovered that the health insurance plan, which covers his employees at the Media Research Center, includes coverage for birth control and OHMAGAWD abortion . Bozell, a devout Catholic who obviously believes that every sperm is sacred, was horrified and immediately told the saintly handmaidens on his payroll to "not avail yourselves to these contraception/abortifacient/abortion services, not through the MRC. They are evil, and I am unequivocal about this." Of course, the question arises as to whether these women have been engaging in evil non-procreative sex for pleasure while taking advantage of the MRC's birth control coverage. And if so, does that mean that his single ladies weren't waiting to put a ring on it? If Brent gets his way, they'll need to stock up on the aspirin which, of course, isn't covered under health care . Oh, well...
Eric Bolling Busts A Tune To Vote Out Obama Over High Gas Prices
We’ve previously reported about how Fox News just happens to be in synch with the Republican Party in using high gas prices to attack President Obama. But on Fox & Friends Thursday (2/23/12), Eric Bolling took things to a whole new level when he donned a cap and sang a blues tune to some anti-Obama lyrics. Must be seen to be believed! Especially Steve Doocy clapping and Gretchen Carlson swaying delightedly!
Read moreNews Corp. Phone Hacking May Have Reached American Shores
A new report reveals that a Hollywood music agent’s phone was hacked by News Corp. It’s not clear whether the hacking occurred while she was in the U.S. or the U.K. But it’s one more reason to suspect that the scandal - or the wrongdoing - may not be contained abroad.
Read moreHannity Boasts About His Friendship With Stephen Baldwin And Private Screening Of Act Of Valor
Sean Hannity likes to pretend he’s a regular guy and rail against “elites." Just pay no attention to his multimillion-dollar earnings. But lately I’ve noticed that Hannity spends a lot of time “mentioning” his friends in high places or his insider connections with those same people. So when he brought up his connections to Stephen Baldwin within the first 30 seconds (if not sooner) of their interview last night - and went on to boast about his private screening of Baldwin's film - I thought it was time to start documenting all the elite privileges this “regular guy” boasts about.
Read moreFox News Panel Sings The Praises Of Income Inequality
Another example of Fox News pundits talking up the benefits of poverty. We know Foxies think the poor don’t pay their fair share of taxes and that they’ve already got more than enough social services. Last Saturday (2/18/12), the panelists on Bulls and Bears argued that income inequality in our country is a good thing. Of course, none of them seemed to be on the struggling end of that equation!
Read moreBrent Bozell’s Phony Analysis Of Oil Production
Brent Bozell’s “Media Mash” segment about oil prices last night on Hannity was yet another instance where Bozell used accusations of bias against the rest of the media as a cover for promoting his own bias - in this case via statements that were both false and unfounded. Guest host Liz Cheney didn’t challenge a single misstatement.
Read moreGreta Van Susteren Enables Franklin Graham’s Holy War Against Obama
Greta Van Susteren helped further Franklin Graham’s religious attacks on President Obama last night. This, just a few days after Graham announced on MSNBC that President Obama is a Muslim under Islamic law and just may be a secret Muslim. You may recall that Graham questioned the president’s birth certificate and “where he really stands” on Christianity during an ABC interview about a year ago. But Van Susteren gave Graham a pass on those outrageous remarks and, at the same time, fed him openings to criticize Obama for not doing enough, especially in Iran, to help Christians in various conflicts against Muslims.
Read moreHannity Disappointed NRA's Ermey Apologized For Urging People "Rise Up" Against Obama
Despite his absence, Sean Hannity did his part for the Hannity hatriotism hour last night when, during a pre-recorded interview with NRA board member and actor R. Lee Ermey, he complained that Ermey should not have apologized for urging an audience to "rise up" against President Obama and stop his efforts to "destroy" the country with his "socialism." Hannity repeatedly praised Ermey, including calling him a "great American," and said, " I don't see what you have to be sorry about expressing your views."
Read moreMalkin Calls Obama A "Religious Menace"
Hatriot Michelle Malkin was a vision of sneering sanctimony last night as she joined hatriot Monica Crowley for a segment full of animosity toward her president and any American who might support him. Predictably, it began with the two playing the conservative victim - or in this case putting up Rick Santorum as the conservative victim of the left's accusations that he attacked President Obama's religion. Rather than discuss whether or not Santorum HAD attacked Obama's religion (which I'll argue is pretty clear that he did), the two used that as a launching pad to - wait for it! - attack President Obama's religion.
