And who better to give a fair and balanced analysis of Obama's record than Herman Cain?

Apparently, bullyboy Sean Hannity just couldn’t take a chance that his audience might not hate OWS protester Harrison Schultz. Because in the very next segment after what was billed as a “shoot out” between Hannity and Schultz, Hannity stacked his “Great American Panel” with three like-minded conservatives and all four of them spent the next five minutes trashing Schultz and the Occupy movement. UPDATED WITH VIDEO OF PANEL DISCUSSION.

Dennis Miller visited The O'Reilly Factor for his regular Wednesday night gig last night. At about two minutes in, after smearing the Occupy Movement, their attention turned to "the chick running against Scott Brown," Elizabeth Warren.

Since the Trayvon Martin murder, Fox News seems to be making a full-time job of digging up news items about black people assaulting white people, and using them to bash the liberal media for selective reporting. Last night, Bill O’Reilly found another one: a tale of two reporters for the Pilot newspaper in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area, who were attacked by a mob of African-American men after their car stopped at a stoplight, and beaten sufficiently badly as to be off work for a week. What particularly outraged O’Reilly was that the reporters' own newspaper didn't report the crime for two weeks, and that police had not charged anybody (update: as of today, the paper reports, one person has been charged).
Read moreOn Fox Nation It's One Nation Under Jesus!
Along with being Fox News' resident homophobe, Todd Starnes loves Jesus. In service to his BFF, Starnes provides front-line coverage for the patented Fox "war on Christianity." As a good Christian soldier, Starnes reminds us that today is National Prayer Day. Fox Nation has a link to his thoughts about how "judges are outlawing the faith that made this country great" which is news to me given that the Christian right and the Catholic bishops seem to be alive and kicking! He then channels the voice of "God" who wants his flock to abandon their "wicked ways" and exhorts Democrats and Republicans and Jews and Gentiles to kiss and have make-up sex. (Just kidding but that's the gist) Starnes' article is linked to on Fox Nation which, unlike Starnes, sees America as a place for Christians only as their headline, "Starnes: One Nation under God" is illustrated with a photo of praying hands holding a distinctly Christian cross. Jesus must be so happy with his pals at Fox Nation!
Roger Ailes: Head Of The Communications Arm Of The GOP
Politico has an interesting article out today called, GOPers flock to Roger Ailes's Office, detailing the more-than-cozy relationship between Ailes and Republicans. Although Fox News tried to downplay the connections, it's clear that the rank-and-file Republicans see it differently. "From leaders to lowly freshmen, Republicans are eager to get some face time with a powerful news executive whose megaphone can quickly shift the national debate... Unlike other news executives, Ailes carries an enormous amount of clout within a Republican Party that sees Fox News as the best way to get its message to the masses."
Shepard Smith And Ed Rollins Pan Gingrich's Speech Ending His Presidential Campaign
Newt Gingrich delivered quite a speech earlier today in which he suspended his presidential campaign. How bad was it? It was so bad that afterward, on Studio B, host Shepard Smith and Fox News contributor Ed Rollins couldn't say enough bad things about it. And it was a measure of how far Gingrich has fallen in the Republican Party that Smith said, “I don't know anybody on his side of the political aisle who can stand him any more.” It's not just that Smith would say such a thing on the air that was astounding - but that he'd say it on Fox.

Neil Cavuto used his Common Sense editorial Monday (4/30/12) to smear the Occupy movement's May Day protests and paint the one percenters as the victimized social benefactors of the shiftless, hypocritical protesters.

This is looking like another bad week for Rupert Murdoch. First, a UK commission found him "not fit" to run News Corporation, his media conglomerate that has been mired in phone hacking scandals. Today, the deputy prime minister echoed those findings, saying they raised "serious questions of basic corporate governance in the Murdoch empire", which allowed its journalists to engage on illegal invasions of privacy on an "industrial scale". But wait, there's more. (H/T Eric J.)

Sean Hannity interviewed Dutch politician Geert Wilders last night about his new autobiography. Hannity made a big deal out of the death threats Wilders faces and the security he lives with. But somehow, Hannity forgot to tell the “we report, you decide” network's viewers that Wilders is an anti-Islamic extremist. Instead, Wilders was painted as some kind of free-speech (Christian) martyr. Even worse, Hannity used the opportunity to suggest we're on the verge of a World War III version of a holy war.
