Fox Doesn't Mind Dirty Campaigning if Allen West is Doing It
Fox News in general, and Sean Hannity in particular, are accusing the Obama campaign of being the “dirtiest ever,” and bemoaning its use of attack ads. Yet when Fox Fave Rep. Allen West uses a sorry incident in his rival’s reckless youth as material for an attack ad, he nods approvingly, Fox Nation calls it “inspiring” and the wingnuts eat it up.

Given his blatant misogyny, especially towards women who stand up for reproductive rights, it's not surprising that Bill O'Reilly's posee includes four men whose attitude towards liberal women, especially those who stand up for reproductive rights, is nothing if not misogynistic. It's also not surprising that these four Neanderthals would validate O'Reilly's contention that the epic attempt to role back reproductive rights is being imagined by women who don't know their place. Adam Carolla compared the requirement that health insurers provide free contraception to getting free beer. Dennis Miller admonished Sandra Fluke to "stop whining" - a phrase used by Greg Gutfeld on "The Five." And two weeks ago (9/14) Bernard McGuirk, who had no problem referring to black women as "nappy headed ho's," and Gutfeld provided more validation for big, spin pimping daddy Bill O'Reilly in his ongoing jihad against women's reproductive rights and those women who support them.
Read moreMcGuirk And Gutfeld Discuss Throwing A Prayer Rug At Obama During The Debate
Last night, Bill O’Reilly called on his two regular Friday-night guests, Bernard McGuirk and Greg Gutfeld to give each of the presidential candidates advice for the upcoming debate. McGuirk said Romney needs to use “colorful language” and to take “a couple of cheap shots.” But, McGuirk added, “I’m not saying grab a prayer rug and throw it at the president.” However, Gutfeld – even though he was supposed to be advising President Obama – endorsed the idea. ““I am! I’m suggesting that!” Gutfeld exclaimed gleefully.
Read moreHannity Talking Impeachment Again, This Time Over Benghazi Attack
Here we go again. Not since Sestak-gate, no, Fast and Furious-gate, no campaign-ad-gate has Sean Hannity asked “What did the president know, when did he know it?” as if impeachment is imminent – this time over Benghazi-gate. Well, in his dreams, anyway.

Move over, 9/11 "Truthers." There's a new truther movement that has sprung up from the bowels of the GOP and Fox News. Rather than talking about how 9/11 was an "inside job," these new truthers are saying that all those polls, that show that President Obama's poll numbers are better than Mitt Romney's, are bogus. In addition to pointing out how "skewed" the data is, Fox News also claims that the polls, commissioned by media outlets, are an example of evil, librul media bias. And like the 9/11 Truthers, these Romney supporters have a variety of unsubstantiated claims about why this is happening. It would appear that in the bizarro world of Fox "News," when reality bites, you just make stuff up about why it's happening. TPM has a collection of yesterday's Fox & Friends greatest poll truther material.
Read moreBill O'Reilly's Hate Speech Gets Results!
In addition to being a Fox News purveyor of right wing propaganda, Bill O'Reilly is something of a community activist in that he is able to arouse the passions of his viewership. But rather than being directed in a positive direction, these passions, on occasion, are directed in hateful ways against the targets of Bill's wrath. Last night, Bill focused his wrath against the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. In cherry picking one comment from an editorial, he distorted the whole point of the piece which was about public distrust of the media. The comment in question cited Bill O'Reilly and other Fox talkers who, like some on MSNBC, can raise viewer's blood pressures. Bill's rendering of the editorial must have raised the ire, if not the blood pressure, of his viewers because the first call taken, this morning, by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch editorial page editor Tony Messenger, was "hey shit head." Looks like when O'Reilly speaks, "the folks" listen!
Read moreBill O'Reilly Says St. Louis Post-Dispatch Is "Dumb & Corrupt"
Along with Bill O'Reilly's narcissism, his hypocrisy knows no bounds. While he feels free to attack any and all who disagree with his "traditionalist" world view, he gets just a wee bit thin skinned when it comes to any criticisms of Bill O'Reilly. While he had no problem accusing an abortion provider of illegally "killing babies," he's rather annoyed about an editorial, in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch which dared to mention his name in an article titled "Screaming at Each Other, Won't Improve Our Democracy." The theme of the article was about how people are losing trust in the media due to the tone of the discourse. Their mortal sin is a bit of mild snark about how both MSNBC and Fox talkers, like Bill O'Reilly, can increase one's blood pressure. For mentioning his name, they have earned the rebuke of the great and powerful Bill O'Reilly who, while not issuing a boycott, is ordering his minions to stop reading this "dumb & corrupt" newspaper which accurately discussed the type of toxic talk that Bill O'Reilly specializes in!
Read moreHannity's Phony Middle East Expert Of The Day: Herman Cain
Remember how Herman Cain proved himself even more embarrassingly clueless about Libya than Sarah Palin was about the Bush doctrine? Well, either Sean Hannity and Fox News forgot or else they didn't care. Because on Wednesday night (9/26/12), Hannity trotted out Cain as an authority to discuss the attacks on the American consulate in Libya.
Read moreFox News Website's "Bias Alert" Hypocrisy?
You just can't make this stuff up. The Fox News website has a new "BIAS ALERT" feature as one of its ledes. The last one reported on the efforts by right wing extremists to call out librul media for being unfair and unbalanced. (LOL!!) The newest one targets "Mother Jones" (who is tops on the right wing shit list for providing us with the Mitt Romney thinks you're scum video) for posting a video ("taking a swipe" at) of Mitt Romney, thirty years ago, talking about investments strategies to "harvest" (ye reap what ye sow?) companies for a profit. And underneath this example of egregious bias by the evil librul media is another article about how the evil, librul media isn't showing the clip of Marxist, Socialist, Kenyan, anti-Christ Obama, in - wait for it- 1998 when he discussed - oh, no - ""a propaganda campaign against the possibility of government action and its efficacy." Eww, can't have efficacy of government action, can we? Seriously, dudes, is that all you've got?!
