Sarah Palin's Spotlight Deficit Disorder

Posted by Ellen · August 29, 2012 9:48 PM · 13 reactions

Poor Sarah Palin. Not only was she not invited to the Republican convention but now Fox News canceled on her, too. So she took to her Facebook page to pout.

Neil Cavuto used the recent news about Lance Armstrong dropping his efforts to clear his name from doping allegations to lay some hate and demonization on the U.S. government.

Juan Williams Criticized For Calling Ann Romney 'A Corporate Wife'

Posted by Ellen · August 29, 2012 3:36 PM · 5 reactions

While others on Fox News gushed over Ann Romney's convention speech last night, Juan Williams was left cold. He said Ann Romney "looked to me like a corporate wife" and that it was "hard for me to believe" her story about struggling. "She did not convince me that, 'You know what? I understand the struggles of American women,'" he added. You could hear the shock and disbelief in the voices of the other panelists who couldn't seem to say enough good things about Romney's speech. Today, on Fox News radio, Chris Wallace criticized Williams' comment as "dumb." But I can't remember any criticism on Fox when Williams said about Michelle Obama, "She's Got The Stokely Carmichael In A Designer Dress Thing Going."

Megyn Kelly And Brit Hume Dis The Star Spangled Banner!

Posted by Ellen · August 29, 2012 1:11 PM · 3 reactions

Yesterday, during their Republican convention coverage, Megyn Kelly and Brit Hume kept right on talking during the singing of the Star Spangled Banner. Mediaite noted that while MSNBC aired the song in full, Kelly and Hume "acknowledged the anthem before going right back to discussing the convention. As they were literally in an open-air box in the convention center, the anchors actually had to raise their voices."

Carl Cameron: Ann Romney ‘Like Your Best Friend’s Mom…Very Normal, Very Average’

Posted by Ellen · August 29, 2012 2:41 AM · 9 reactions

“Objective” Fox News reporter Carl Cameron offered his thoughts after Ann Romney’s speech last night – and what a coincidence! He just happened to echo the “Romneys are just regular folks we can all relate to” theme that Fox’s Chris Wallace and Megyn Kelly have recently promoted and that Ann Romney, herself, had just put forth. But I think Cameron may have taken it a bit too far when he bubbled that Mrs. Romney is “very normal, very average.”

Fox Pounds the 2016 Drum In the Face of ‘Mainstream Media Indifference’ (!?)

Posted by Margarita · August 28, 2012 6:24 PM · 2 reactions

The official box-office figures are in for the first general-release weekend for “2016: Obama’s America”, Dinesh D’Souza’s conservative film purporting to tell us all about the roots of Obama’s anti-colonial, anti-American views. The film has done very well, as Fox Nation made sure we knew. According to its post, the film finished the weekend at #8 with sales of $6.5 million – extremely good for a documentary - and the highest per-screen theater average ($5,717), thanks no doubt to all those advance sales and pre-organized trips mentioned in an earlier post.

Could Megyn Kelly Slobber Any More Over The Romney Family?

Posted by Ellen · August 28, 2012 3:27 PM · 11 reactions

If you thought Chris Wallace’s infomercial about the Romneys was a puff piece, wait until you see Megyn Kelly’s two-segment gush-fest with Mitt Romney’s five sons. I wouldn’t have thought it possible but she managed to make Wallace look positively hard hitting.

Bret Baier Uses Anti-Choice Language To Push Obama/Infanticide Zombie Lie

Posted by Priscilla · August 28, 2012 11:19 AM · 1 reaction

According to the head honchos at Fox News, their official "news" programs are fair & balanced and not dedicated to pushing propaganda. So if that's the case (LOL), why did Bret Baier use the non-scientific term "partial birth abortion," a term coined in the late 90's by a consortium of anti-choice groups and the Catholic bishops, to describe a late term abortion procedure other than to underscore their pro-life creds and make the Obama bashing even more fun. Words mean something and in this case the wording was clearly an articulation of anti-choice propaganda which was part of the opposition to Obama in 2008 and, like those movie zombies, keeps coming back. "Fair & Balanced?"  Not so much!
