The newest outrage in "real" and non-politically correct America is a training course on white privilege (no such thing, right?) which was given to army soldiers on April 2nd 2015. Doing its due diligence as real America's canker filled mouthpiece, the "hiked skirt brigade" on Outnumbered used this faux outrage to attack political correctness and defend the honor of white people!
As I noted, this incident took place on just one day, last year, but Outnumbered's Harris Faulkner immediately framed Fox's message that this is a big, f'ing deal: "It seems that members of our armed forces are immune from the PC police." She reported that "hundreds of soldiers" at a Georgia army base were OMG "apparently forced to attend a briefing last year on the dangers of white privilege." She noted that this was revealed via Judicial Watch. She didn't mention that Judicial Watch is a rabidly right wing organization headed by the rabidly rabid anti-Obama Larry Klayman who, among other goofball stunts, led a rally calling for a revolution to overthrow the president and who named Obama as the 2015 Muslim of the Year.
Faulkner read a factually correct observation, from the training material, about white privilege and noted, sarcastically, that an army spokesperson explained that the diversity session "wasn't officially authorized." She scrunched up her face as she said that there were 400 soldiers in attendance "so it's hard not to not authorized something with that many people so that would be a question that I would have for this captain who made that statement." She mentioned that the Army will focus on training the trainers to use appropriate material.
Andrea Tantaros asserted that this "was clearly a screw-up" and ascribed the blame to "a social justice warrior." She wasted no time in pimping the GREAT, BIG, FOX, PROPAGANDA MESSAGE that "it points to a larger theme within the military that we see that move away from traditional, military behavior into a more PC type of indoctrination." Without citing any specifics, she alluded to examples of how "PC culture is infecting the Department of Defense" because "the priorities have become things like climate change and women on the front line." (Tantaros thinks that allowing women in combat roles is just another example of political correctness and an intrusion into the male domain.)
Sandra Smith informed us that the military has used training material in which conservative organizations have been labeled hate groups - something that occurred, once, in 2013, but which Fox felt was a very big, deal. Despite the reality that, as the material said, "our society attaches privilege to being white and male," #Oneluckyguy Charlie Gasparino said that there is no white privilege in the military because of boot camp. Faulkner was appalled that the soldiers were taught that white privilege results in income inequality and that they should address it. She asked if they should be "counseling the enemy." Gillian Turner said that some sensitivity training could be helpful overseas, but "here at home, it just strikes me as very strange."
Funny, the training material talks about "a world organized in ways that encourage people to use difference to include or exclude, reward or punish, credit or discredit." That world, as we saw on today's Outnumbered, is Fox News!
My goodness!!! That first olive out of the bottle led to a black five star general and a black POTUS.
Maybe Harry Truman was ahead of his time or maybe Faux is behind the times. I don’t know.
Yes I do.
